Chapter 14

Alex POV

"Babe I am off to work" I said walking into the kitchen placing a kiss on her cheek. " Whhhyyyy". I looked at her. She gave me puppy dog eyes. " Babygirl, I go in today then I am off for two weeks cause my boss is going on vaction". I pecked her lips. She smiled." Okay see you later". I left the apartment and headed down the apartment to my car. Yes Riley gave me Tyler's address. Yes she thinks I am going to work. I was going to go beat the jackass up. I know I had a promise but I loved her, and I couldn't see her get hurt.

I pulled up to Tyler's house. I was about to beat the shit out of him. I got out of my car and walked up to his front door. I knocked on the door with out hesitating. A few seconds later Tyler opened the door. He looked me up and down then looked at my face and his smirk dropped. "Your my Ex's girlfriend." He laughed. " Why you dating a bitch when you can date me?" he leaned against the door frame. " First of all, I love her, Second of all you are a pig and an asshole, and third of all...." I swung a punched him. He didn't flinch. He just laughed. ' What did I just get my self into?' I thought to my self. He pushed me to the ground and started kicking me. He kicked all up my body and even my head. He bent down and slapped me. " If I didn't have my needs already pleased by your slut of a girlfriend, you would be raped right now" He punched me in the face again before going back inside his house. I couldn't move. All I could think of was to call Riley but she would be mad at me.

I got up in pain and headed towards my car. I drove home in pain. 'How am I going to explain this to Riley?' I thought while I drove home.

Riley POV

Something didn't seem right. Alex was acting....weird. I just brushed it off.
I was just sitting on the couch watching Deal or no Deal while vaping. Yes I Vape. Alex let me borrow hers since she wasn't going to use it today at work. She was only working for 3 hours but I missed her.

I heard the door open and it shut. my baby was home. I walked out of the bedroom to the living room to see her leaning on the couch. I walked closer to see she had cuts and bruises. "BABY OH MY GOD" I ran up to her. She looked at me and she looked like she had been crying. " I am sorry" is all she said before she flinched in pain again." Babe sit down" I put her arm around my shoulder and she flinched. I walked her around to sit on the couch. She did it slowly and flinched again when she sat. I sat next to her and said " What happened? Did someone do-" I stopped. Then I realized I gave her Tyler's address. "Tyler did this didn't he?" . Tears rolled down her face as she nodded. " I wanted to stand up for you, I was so mad that he did that to you. He is a asshole. I went there and he threw me to the ground and punched, slapped, and kicked me. She looked at me. She had a black eye, bloody nose, and her lip was busted. I felt angry that Tyler did this, I felt sad she broke the promise, I also feel protected cause she would fight for me. I brushed a piece of stray hair behind her ear. " I am sorry, I shouldn't have broke the promise". I wiped her tears gently and placed a soft gentle kiss on her lips. " Don't be, I am a little upset you broke it but I feel protected that you did that for me. I am going to call the cops on Tyler after I get you cleaned up " She smiled slightly and closed her eyes. She leaned her head back on the couch as I got up.

I came back to the living room with a rag, alcohol, gauze, medical tape, and an icepack. "Baby take off your jacket". I put the stuff on the coffee table. I turned to her sliding her jacket off. I went over and started to unbutton her blue button down t-shirt. I unbuttoned the last button and slid it off her. She had bruises up her side and a cut by her collar bone. " Oh my god" I got the alcohol and the rag and put it on the cut. She hissed in pain. " I am sorry Alex" I said dapping the cut. I put gauze on it and started doing her face.

Alex POV

Riley walked back in the living room. " Baby take off your jacket". I slowly took my jacket off as she put the medical stuff on the table. I got it off and threw it on the ground. She came back over to e and started unbutton my shirt. I felt useless. She slid the shirt off of me and put it on the back off the couch. " Oh my god". I closed my eyes again not caring what she was going to do. I felt a sharp sting and I hissed in pain. " I am sorry Alex" Riley dapped the rag on my collar bone again. She put gauze on it and started to do my face.
