Alex POV
"Thank you sir" I grabbed the little bag from the jeweler. "Good luck and congratulations young lady" he said with a smile. My heart skipped a beat. Today was the day, today I am going to propose to my amazing girlfriend of two years. Riley is the most amazing girlfriend in the whole wide world. I never thought true love was really but then I met Riley and I then knew it was real.
-skip day and at park-
"I love you" Riley said placing a soft gentle kiss on my lips. I always felt safe around her. She makes me happy and nothing will ever change that. I was going to propose to her on the dock cause that is always are little hang out spot in the park. It was In a hidden area were barley anyone would go there and disturb us. "Lets go to our spot" I said grabbing her wrist gently and dragging her over to the dock. "Babe slow down" she said giggling. I was rushing cause I was nervous. I was scared on what she might say. We got to the dock and sat there for what felt like seconds was an hour.
Riley stood up and said " Baby can we get going home I'm tired and cold". I looked up at her and thought this is the moment. I nodded and went to get up as she turned around. I got on one knee and said" wait Riles" she turned around and looked at me confused. I pulled the little black box out of my pocket and looked at her. I think she finally realized what was happening cause I saw her eyes start to water. "Riley.... I never knew what a soulmate was until I met you. You are my best friend and the most amazing girlfriend in the whole wide world. I don't know what I would do with out you.. so Riley Will you marry me?"
