Chapter 17: My forever love

TJ POV: (A month later)

I had been back in LA for only a few hours as I was on a break, yet again from shooting a movie. The week off will enable me to catch up with friends I had not seen in forever. I was staying in a Hotel coz I was leasing out my LA home. I needed to rest this evening. As I was dozing off my phone rang and it was my Mainapplescrapple. The most loving guy I know with the biggest smile and my BFf.

TJ: hey my boo boo

Ty: hey love are you back in LA yet? damn I missed you boo boo.

TJ: Yes I am back boo. It has been ...long indeed. Nothing beats seeing you face to face though. Let's have a late lunch tomorrow

Black Ty: cool bye boo

TJ: Nyt boo

TJ POV:

It really felt good to hear from my Ty. This was my last thought as I drifted off to sleep.

Ty POV:

Damn it felt good to speak to my heart, my boo. What she didn't know was that I was planning to surprise her ON the Arsenio hall show in a few days' time. I was really happy that we were now in a good space and we were once more best friends.

The following day Ty and TJ had lunch together and it felt like old times.

The Arsenio hall show :

While TJ was waiting in the green room she felt her mind wondering and thinking of the times when she and Ty were an item.

She still loved him but was love enough? Anyway Ty had a girlfriend so she told herself that she had to snap out of it.

When Arsenio was done interviewing TJ he said "before you go I have a special guest you know very well TJ "

TJ: who?

Arsenio: come on out Tyrese Gibson!

TJ was shocked coz Tyrese had said nothing when they had met for lunch. TJ was so surprised and happy to see Ty laughed so hard and blushed a little, she hoped he did not notice her blushing. Ty gave her a warm hug and Peck on the lips.

Ty and Arsenio talked for a bit and then he sang his song Stay and after singing he gave TJ another hug and a peck on the lips. He whispered to TJ that she must wait for him backstage as she was done with her interview.

Ty talked with Arsenio about his recording label and the new artists he had signed.

Afterward his interview he went backstage and found TJ waiting for him. He had the biggest smile on his face.

It was early evening so they went for dinner at a restaurant owned by Ty's friend Will. They managed to get a private room with a piano.

After dinner Ty sang some of his old songs and TJ asked him to sing one of her favourite songs Adore by Prince and she joined in, in the singing.

Afterwards they kissed and made love on top of the piano. Which brought back memories of earlier in the year when they had made love on Ty's piano.

The following morning:

Ty: I am so hungry.

TJ: let's shower and I will make us breakfast

Ty: I am not talking about that type of hunger.

TJ: really Mr Gibson? As she rolled her eyes and giggled

Ty: come here.

They made love and then fell asleep again. When they woke up if was 11am.

They showered together and then had brunch together.

Ty: babe you need to move your stuff from the hotel to here.

TJ: I have been meaning to ask u, what about Nandi?

Ty: I love you babe, but I really do not know how I'm gonna break it down to her that I am back with you.

TJ: she is such a sweetheart, I really wish you didn't have to break her heart.

Ty: I feel so bad but I have to follow my heart. You are the number one woman in my heart. My forever love.

Later that night they went out on the town with their friends Gabby and Dwayne, Mary J and her new man Tony, Will and Jada and they all had a blast. They got back home at round 2am Saturday and they were both so tired they went straight to sleep.

They spent the whole weekend in bed making love, just getting up to shower and eat and then straight back to bed.
