TJ's POV
On my first day on set, I got to my trailer and the biggest and tallest bouquets of my favorite roses were covering every available space and it made it hard to move around.
My first thought was "oh wow what a great welcome" until I checked the card, of course it was from Tyrese, he was the king of grand gestures after all.
I won't lie I giggled like a school girl While reading the card and I even caught myself blushing in the nearby mirror.
I scolded myself a bit while still looking myself in the mirror. "Really Taraji, since when do you blush like a school girl and since when do you even blush" I said to myself.
I was all giddy and had butterflies in my stomach.
I read the card again, out loud this time:
It said:
"Every minute, every hour, you are on my mind. Every night you are in my dreams, I wake up with a smile only to realize that are not next to me. Tell me what to do to make you mine again, only this time I want it to be forever. I love you, have always loved you. When I am with you nothing else matters. There were times I would catch myself looking at you because I just couldn't believe how blessed I was. Your smile and laughter is what I miss more than anything else. .Please give me another chance, I promise that I will spend the rest of my life making you happy. I love you forever.
Sincerely Tyrese Darnell Gibson"
The Words made me smile and tears started falling down my face, only this time it was tears of joy. Lord knows I have cried a lot of sad tears since losing my unborn child.
The flowers and card from Ty warmed my heart. I will always love him but was love ever enough. The thought of him cheating and hurting me again still scared me.
A week later:
Ty and TJ were both in Atlanta. TJ was shooting a movie which she was also producing. Ty was working on some music projects.
The miscarriage had brought them a little closer and they called each other sometimes but things were just not the same. Maybe their friendship would never be the same. Maybe that was the price they had to pay for having crossed the line from friendship to Lovers.
Ty still wanted her back but he knew the timing had to be right. A week before he had sent her flowers and asked her to take him back but she had not responded. Maybe it was too late to try again.
Taraji was with her security as she walked into star bucks. She heard his voice first before she saw him. She looked around and her eyes landed on him. He was at the counter ordering and he was dressed in denim jeans, a black shirt, black leather jacket and black shoes.
