"Sam!" Percy called. I didn't reply. I was mad. And sad. He said something to my boyfriend, and Mattie broke up with me. I know we had been fighting a lot for awhile, but we were working through it and things were starting to get better. Or at least I thought they were.

I jumped off the dock and into the lake, creating a bubble of air around myself. I learned how to do that a couple of months ago, about 2 months after Percy first showed me. I figured it would take Percy awhile to find me, any normal person would have given up by now, but he is insanely persistent.

I swam for a little bit, to get away from the dock, and talk to George.

"Hey, Sammy. What you doing all the way out here?" George squeaked in front of my bubble.

"Hiding."

"Why?"

"Cause guys suck."

"Hey." George complained.

"Human guys." I clarified.

"What did Percy do now?"

"Why do you think it's Percy?"

"Cause he is shouting your name around camp and he looks guilty."

"He said something to my boyfriend, then Mattie broke up with me."

"Well, whenever you're done moping, do you want to swim with me for a bit?"

"I would but I can never keep up with you."

"That's just cause your a slow swimmer, you need more pra-" George paused. "Percy just hopped in the water." I groaned then swam up to the surface of the water, my bubble popped and I let Percy come. I could feel George swimming around my legs and mumbling something.

"Sam." Percy started. "You have to let me explain."

"No, I don't want to hear it right now." I said, anger bubbling up in my chest.

"Please Sam, just hear me out." He pleaded, wiping his wet hair out of his eyes. George brushed up against my leg.

"Don't look into his eyes, he might to the puppy thing." George said. Surely enough when I looked at Percy he was giving me his puppy eyes.

"Fine." I said.

"Told you not to look." George said in an "I told you so" tone.

"Shush, George." I hissed. Percy looked at me confused for a second.

"George? Are you talking to that goldfish again?"

"Yeah, and? Are you gonna figure out some way to mess that up to? You have two minutes. Talk." I snapped.

"Okay, you two had been fighting a lot recently, so I thought I would talk to him because I didn't like seeing you so unhappy. I told him that you were very upset, and that..." Percy paused.

"And what?"

"And that if he couldn't fix things with you that it would probably be easier on both of you just to end it."

"So you told him to break up with me?"

"I didn't mean for it to come out that way when we were talking. It just came out that way. Sam, I am so sorry. If there's anyway that I can make it up to you I will."

I could feel my powers starting to rumble, and I knew if I didn't get away from him something very bad would happen.

"Just leave me alone." I said coldly.

"Sam-"

"GO!" I shouted at him. He looked at me shocked or a second then nodded his head and left. I had never yelled at him unless, I was really mad at him. Like the time when he took my phone and my headphones without asking, and made everything sticky. And yes, I know being a demigod I shouldn't have a cellphone, but now it's sole purpose is to listen to my tunes.

I let myself sink under the water, until my lungs hurt. Then I created my air bubble and cried. It wasn't one of my proudest moments thats for sure. But I was really upset, and angry. So I screamed and let it all out. Unfortunately I let a little too much out and sent a giant wave towards camp as the ground underneath the lake cracked open, and sucked me and George into it. The ground above us closed up and we were stuck in complete darkness.

My air bubble was still around my head but fresh air bubbles weren't circulating into it as fast, leaving me with a headache from the lack of oxygen.

"George?"

"I'm okay." He said zipping around my head. "But next time earthquakes aren't required."

"Yeah, I know. Can you see anything?"

"Not really." I tried moving around but my leg was stuck under some debris. "Can you get us out of here?"

I put my hand up to the ceiling, and cracked it open a bit, just enough for some light to shine through, and George to get out. My head throbbed. I had used too much energy in my unplanned destruction.

"As much as I hate to say this right now, go and get Percy."

"Okay. I'll see what I can do." He said, looking at me. He swam up through the crack and I was left alone.

**Authors note**

Hello, sorry this chapter is a little short, and if their are parts that don't make sense please let me know, and I will try to fix them up. My heads still a little fried, because I was sick for awhile with Meningitis. So I'm hoping that if I get back into my writing that I will feel more like myself. I'll try to get the next chapter up as soon as I can.

Thanks for reading!!
