I walked next to Sam, as we followed Percy through Tartarus. Nobody said anything and Sam gave no indication that she even liked me like how I liked her. So as we walked slowly not saying anything I was left alone with my thoughts only once in awhile coming back to reality when Sam touch my arm or walked into me a little, even though being in Tartarus didn't feel like it was part of reality, it felt like a nightmare. Their again so did the rest of my life.

I like to keep things to myself thats the only reason why I've lived this long. I told Sam my name was Jacob. I like that name it's simple and doesn't tie me to any crazy greek stuff. I really like it when she calls me Jake. She is the only one that really does. I know by liking her I put her into danger, and it was foolish of me to ask her out, but I figured she was worth the risk. Even with everything that has happened.

I should probably catch you up a bit. My name isn't Jacob, it's Phaidros. I'm a god. Well technically anyway. I don't like it, never will. My dad is Apollo, and my mom is Hecate. Now you're wondering how that works considering Hecate is a virgin goddess, I would help with that but I don't even know. All I know is that I lived with my mortal mom for as long could remember. She told me when I was about ten that my parents were greek gods. After that my-

Sam grabbed my arm, stopping me in my tracks. She looked at me and could tell I wasn't paying attention. The three of us ducked down behind a fallen pillar.

"What? What is it?" I whispered to Sam.

"Cyclops, and not the good kind." She answered.

"Wait, since when was their a good kind?" I asked, she looked at Percy.

"We have a brother. He's a cyclops."

"You have a brother thats a cyclops. Okay then." I suppose I couldn't judge considering I am a god I suppose. We sat quietly on high alert until the horde of cyclops moved on. We ended making camp by the pillar for the night, Sam and I slept while Percy went on first watch.

The room was just like it always was. The brown leather couch was up against the long light green wall, about a foot in front of the couch was a old wooden coffee table, and opposite of the couch was a large entertainment center with a small flat screen tv, with my PS3 hooked up to it. A women sat on the couch crying into her hands, her blonde hair swept across her shoulders, covering the top of her black sweater.

"Mom?" I said touching her shoulder, she looked up. I expected to see her warm brown eyes look up at me, but  instead cold glowing blue eyes stared back. Her voice was not its usual chipper self instead it was cold and rough.

"Phaidros. Come home, kill the girl. You don't need her." The voice said, as it had said so many other times before I had met Sam. Finally it made sense.

"No, I won't do it, Hecate. She's done nothing wrong to me." The voice responded with the same sentence like a message on an answering machine.

"I can't come home, you're not my family, leave my mother alone." Once again the voice responded the same way.

"Phaidros. Come home, kill the girl, you don't need her." The voice repeated over and over again, getting louder and louder until I woke up.

I jumped awake just in time, for Sam to wake me up for my shift. Percy was fast asleep beside me and Sam looked exhausted. She lied down back in her spot and I propped myself up against the pillar staring into the darkness, once again alone with my thoughts.

After I found out that my parents were Apollo and Hecate. I started to figure out my powers, like healing, and magic. When 15, thats when I was kidnapped by Hades. It was a normal day at school but my powers were getting stronger and more noticeable they were also becoming a little uncontrollable. I was walking home when a fight broke out in a alley, and went in to try and stop it. Their was a guy on the ground that was bleeding from a stab wound in his side. I tried to help him but I couldn't get it to fully heal, thats when the other guy bashed me in the head with a rock knocking me out. I had a dream from Apollo.

It was an empty white room, with a young guy standing in front of me. He looked to be about seventeen.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"I'm your father."

"Your Apollo? I thought you'd look older."

"Yeah, yeah. I know. Anyway I don't have much time. Phaidros you are a god."

"Sorry, what? No I'm not." I said confused.

"Phai, One day you're going to have to accept it, right now you don't. But know once you do nothing will be the same. You will accept it, either to save your life or a friends. That's all I can say for now. Good-bye Phaidros." He said vanishing into thin air. I woke up in a cell, with my head throbbing and very confused, after that I was Hades prisoner and forced to work for him, until I met Sam and Percy.

Sam and Percy slowly started waking up, we had a quick breakfast and continued on our way through tartarus.
