"Go, go, go" Percy whispered, pushing us behind some rocks. Percy pulled out his sword illuminating his face so Phaidros and I could see it. The rock we were hiding behind casted a harsh shadow and we could barely see anything. On our way here, Phai tried healing my back a few more times. Which helped a lot, all that was left now was a scar. Phaidros pulled out his dagger, and I played with some lightning in my hand. It was pretty much that only thing I could do down here and I've been practicing.

"So this is it then?" Phaidros asked. I looked over the rock and down at the end of our journey. There were torches set up illuminating a small camp. In the middle was a black cage with the god of the Underworld in it, and guarding his cage was a small group of Spartus. A few of them had guns, and the others had bows and arrows. They looked like they had just jumped out of a Minecraft game. On top of Hades cage waiting patiently was... I gasped. He looked exactly the same minus the fact that he looked like he was pieced back together.

"Chaos." I whispered. He seemed to have heard me and looked in our direction. I quickly ducked down. "Yeah this is it." I said to Phaidros. He nodded and I saw something dark flicker in his eyes. I assumed I had imagined it or it was some power from Hecate.

"So, how do we do this? Do we just calmly walk out there or what?" Phaidros asked.

"I think he knows we're here. Let's just walk out." I said. I stood up and come out from behind the rock, walking steadily towards Chaos. Percy and Phaidros, quickly followed behind me.

"Bout time, Sam. I was beginning to worry that you didn't find my invitation." Chaos purred happily. Jumping off of the cage. He walked towards us. "Come here, Sam. Let me have a look at you." I walked forward away from Phai and Percy. Chaos circled me, inspecting me like an animal for slaughter.

"You've barely changed since the last I saw you, and your hair looks good." He said standing in front of me.

"What do you want?" I demanded tired of his games.

"I want you, Sam. I want you to join me. Together we can be unstoppable, all you have to do is say yes." Chaos said.

"How bout no? You'll give me Hades nicely and I'll leave you in one piece."

"Oh, Samantha. You don't understand do you? He is the start on our way to power. To getting all of the other gods to submit to us. Perhaps you need some incentive." Chaos snapped his fingers. To the left of us. Mattie and Annabeth appeared.

"Percy!" Annabeth yelled running towards him. Percy looked shocked. Chaos made a face and pinched his fingers together. Annabeth stopped mid step and started choking. Chaos focused on her, as she started to turn blue. Percy ran to her side, trying to figure out how to help. That's when all hell broke loose. I flickered lightening in my hand, before slamming my hand into Chaos's chest he went flying back with a bolt of lightning. I could hear Annabeth gasp for breathe. Chaos slammed into Hades's cage before getting up. I zapped more lightning at him, and he blocked.

"Get Hades's out of there. I shouted to the others quickly. Mattie, Phaidros, Percy, and Annabeth jumped into action, fighting and killing the Spartus. Chaos shot fireballs at me, and i dodged somersaulting behind a rock.

"Don't fight me, Sam. You can't win this time. You are weak." I shot more lightning at me to keep him distracted, but he was right. I wasn't strong enough to fight him. I was at a disadvantage, without any water nearby. I ran out at him dodging fireballs, and picked up one of the spartus's guns. I shot at him. He yelled releasing an abundance of energy knocking me over. I glanced over and I saw things happen so quickly. Annabeth and Phaidros got Hades out of the cage. Mattie got shot in the stomach by an arrow, and Percy was running at me, cause Chaos blasted another fireball at me. I looked over to see the flaming ball when suddenly everything disappeared and we were outside surrounded by tree's. Percy crashed into my, and we looked around. Annabeth and Phaidros were still standing where they were before, right where the cage would have been, and Mattie... I ran towards him. He was lying on the ground pulling the arrow out of his stomach. He put the arrow beside him and groaned.

"Mattie..."I said trailing off. Their was blood coming out of his mouth and out of his stomach. I tried to stop the bleeding with my hands.

"I'm sorry." Mattie said, looking at me with tears in his eyes.

"It's okay, you're okay." I said quickly. "Jake!" I shouted. Phaidros ran over. "Help him." I pleaded. Phaidros looked conflicted. "Please." I begged.

"I can't" Phaidros said taking a step back. Mattie placed his hands on top of mine to try and help. His face was deathly pale and he was weak.

"You can, just accept your godly stuff and help him." I cried. Jake bit his lip

"I can't be with you, if I'm a god." Phaidros said quietly.

"That doesn't matter now, just help him." I screamed at him. Phaidros still looked so conflicted. "Please."

"Okay." He mumbled. "Close your eyes." He told everyone. I shielded Mattie the best I could and closed my eyes tightly. A bright light flashed, and I could feel the power emitting from Phaidros. I kept my eyes closed, while he moved my hands away from Mattie. I felt warmth, then he whispered in my ear.

"Goodbye, Samantha." With that he was gone. I opened my eyes and Mattie was breathing heavily next to me. I was covered in his blood, and he still looked pretty bad, but his color was coming back and their wasn't a hole in his stomach anymore. Percy and Annabeth ran over to us. Percy snapped his fingers in front of Matt's face.

"I'm fine." Mattie said taking Percy's hand to help get up. I stood up on my own.

"I think we're not far from camp." Annabeth said, looking around.

"Yeah, we look pretty close. Hades did a good job of getting us out of there." Percy said. Mattie grabbed my hand, and pulled me into a hug.

"I was so worried about you." He whispered to me.

"Yeah, me too." I mumbled into his chest.

"I'm so sorry."

"I know, It's okay, Mattie."

"I love you."

"I love you too." I whispered kissing Mattie, before the four of us walked back to camp.
