Emily releases my hand off her arm and says, "You realize he was flirting with you?"

"No, he wasn't. He was being a jerk," I reply as I walk back down to the lobby of the magazine.

Emily followed behind me and it wasn't long before we were on our way up the street to the bar. I could see Mandy out front of Battery Harris waiting for us to arrive.

"Emily, what did you say to get Evelyn to come out for drinks?" asked Mandy as she hugged Emily.

"I don't know to be honest M."

I shake my head and drag the pair of them inside the Battery Harris. I see a free booth available over in the corner of the bar and start to head that way.

"This table looks good. Easy access to the bar and the dance floor," I say as I slide myself into the booth. Emily and Mandy follow me and slide on in.

"Who's going to work their magic first and get us free drinks?" asks Mandy.

Emily raises her hand straight away and heads off to the bar to chat up the bartender. While she is gone, Mandy asks, "How was the model?"

"Don't get me started on the model. He was a jerk and a pig. I ain't doing any more shoots for you," I reply as I pull my phone out of my clutch.

I check my notifications on my phone and find a friend request for Facebook from Spencer Leishman. I roll my eyes and Mandy questions, "What made you roll your eyes?"

"That model added me on Facebook. How dare he?" I retort as she snatches my phone off me.

She slides my phone across and gets into my Facebook. I can see her stalking his Facebook account and sussing him out.

"Evelyn, he is smoking hot and that body, damn boy."

"Maybe if you like that kinda guy," I respond as I snatch my phone back and delete the friend request.

Emily walks back over with the drinks and some company. I look up at them and my jaw just drops open.
