I feel his hands prop my jaw up and the girls giggling. "Didn't your parents teach you that it's rude to stare at people with your mouth open?" he asks.
I shake my head and respond, "What are you doing here Spence?"
"I've come to have a couple of beers after work. What are you doing here?" he teases.
I glare at him, "You knew I was coming here. So you stalked me here and even added me on Facebook. Too bad that I deleted your request!"
He turns to Mandy and introduces himself in that irresistible British accent, "Names Spencer Leishman. Nice to meet you."
Mandy goes red and replies, "Mandy Simpson."
"Nice to meet you gorgeous. Is your friend here always so feisty?" he asks as he points towards me.
"No, she is never feisty."
"I must just have that effect on her. Do you mind if I slide in the booth, Evie?" flirts Spencer.
I roll my eyes and pout, "Actually I do mind. Go sit somewhere else."
He smirks and slides in next to me. I feel his knee touch mine and it sends chills up my spine. I shift myself over in the booth.
"Why do you keep annoying me?" I ask.
He leans into my ear and whispers, "Because I find you so damn irresistible."
I can feel his breath on the nape of my neck and I shift my body up in the booth. He watches as my body does a little squirm in the booth. He whispers again, "I can tell by your body language that you are attracted to me."
I shake my head and take a sip of my Double Impact in front of me. I feel the eyes of Mandy and Emily on me as they watch Spencer and I. I turn my head towards and look his face up and down. My tongue licks my lip as I gaze at his perfectly positioned blue eyes and them perfectly shaped lips. I just want to rub my hand over his day old stubble and plant my lips on his ever so gorgeous face.
"Nope, you are wrong. I'm not attracted to you. Now leave me alone," I say as I turn my body in the booth. I feel him slide out of the booth.
"I'm never wrong, Evie. You will come and find me when you want all of this," he gestures up his body.
"Nice to see you again, Emily. Great to meet you, Mandy," as he kisses both girls on the hands and walks away.
"Evelyn, why did you just let that sex god walk away? I would have just jumped on him right here and now," nudges Mandy.
"I'm not looking to date or see anyone at the moment. Anyone for another drink?" as I down the rest of my Double Impact.
Both girls shake their heads and I head off to the bar to get myself another Double Impact and two tequila shots. Battery Harris was starting to fill up pretty quickly, with all the afternoon drinkers and businessmen that had just finished work wanting a drink before heading home to the city.
"What are ya havin'?" asks the bartender.
"A double impact and two tequila shots," I reply as I lean against the bar.
The bartender nods and goes off to get my order. I look around the bar at all the people hear and begin to question why I even decided to come out today. I feel someone knock into me and I say, "Excuse me, be careful where you stumble."
The guy turns around and I just stare at him.
"Fancy bumping into you!" retorts the guy.
"You have got to be kidding me!"
I turn away from the guy and feel him poke me on the shoulder. I ignore him and pay the bartender for my drinks. "Don't worry, these drinks are on me for bumping into you love," says the guy as he slides my money back towards me.
"I can pay for my own drinks thank you," as I push my money back to the bartender and take my two tequila shots. I slam down the shots and grab my Double Impact. As I turn away from the bar, the guy puts his body in front of me to stop me.
"Can you just leave me alone? Find some other bimbo to hook up with tonight!" as I push him out of my way and head back to my booth.
