I couldn't move. I stared at him even though he couldn't see me from behind all the crowd. But I could see him perfectly, I saw the way his expression changed ever so slightly when he shook there hands or kissed cheeks. He was flawless but I had to move before he saw me.
My work was done here."If you would excuse me." I whispered backing away to the nearest exit.
Christian couldn't find me here. He'd be so mad. But you wanted to do this my subconscious jeered patting her sweating forehead.
Sometimes I hate her. Moving as fast as I can I moved towards my car in the parking lot. I heard footsteps behind me and a shudder passes over me as a cold arm touches my elbow spinning me around.
"Where are you running to, Ana?" He seethe twisting my elbow in his firm grip.
"Let me go Jack." I hiss at the pain moving through my arm.
"I've finally gotten you all to myself,Mrs. Grey." Yanking me closer to his rigid body he forcefully kisses me his tongue pushing deeply in my mouth. Disgust riles from the pit of my stomach and I fine the strength to kick him in his groin. I quickly unlock my car as he doubles over in pain.
"You bitch!" he groaned in agony.
Before he could grab me I had gotten safely in my car about to drive home.
The traffic was hell, it took me atleast two hours to get back home. As soon as I was in the safety of our house I quickly turned on the lights, leaving my keys and shoes at the door.
His voice was awfully calm when he asked, "Where were you?"
I jumped slightly not noticing that he was there. That he was back. I look at him sitting in a nearby chair his tie gone, top buttons undone from his white dress shirt, his hair now messy from the times he's ran his hand through. Swallowing my last bit of confidence I checked the waters.
"I was out."
"Isn't that obvious Anastasia." He says his voice still sweet and charming.
Holy Shit.
"Christian?" I say twining my fingers together. Okay I'm nervous.
He doesn't look up when he mutters "hmmm?"
"I went to reunion ball." That wasn't literally a lie it was half truth.
"I checked your schedule Ana. No freaking Reunion Ball wasn't on it."
He said his calm aura slipping g away.
"So now you're gonna tell me where the fuck you've been? And I don't want no more lies Anastasia."
For the first time since I got here he looked up at me. His eyes were glassy, he was worried. Yet the anger in him consumed everything. Here goes nothing.
"You know the reunion ball that the Foster Home was hosting for all the persons who were investing in it for the reopening well I went there." A breath I never knew that I was keeping expelled pass my lips.
"Why?" He breathes getting up now."Because I wanted to support you." I whispered hoping he'll believe me.
I knew what I did wasn't right but it wasn't entirely wrong either. I did it to protect us."Ana you're such a bad liar." He chuckled humourlessly. "I saw you with Jack. I saw everything." Everything?
As if reading my mind he grab my elbow inspecting it. "Yes everything." Looking at it now I saw a bruise forming.
"Why can't you just listen to me and quit defying me?" He asks his voice breaking. "You're pregnant for fuck sakes." He boomed.
My blood boiled beneath my skin.
"Well if you told me what was happening I didn't had to do what I did!" A single tear roll down my cheek. "You tell me nothing Christian. And then you get angry at me for defying you. I didn't defy you I did what I thought was right for my family, for the people I love."The tears were now flowing harder. I see his eyes soften beneath his hooded gaze ..
He took another step and wrapped his arms around me while u cried into his shirt.
"I'm sorry honey." He coos "I'm so sorry, Ana."
"Lets take you to bed." He whispers
