I couldn't remember ever feeling so cold, so repulsed by something. Utterly disgusted by the lengths in which someone would go to make your life uncomfortable. The tightening in my throat became unbearable as I tried to will the tears back , but the sickening scent of death roiled deep in my stomach. What drew a person to do this to a living thing? To something that breathes the same air they do?

Ugh!   Running my hand through my hair I tried to calm my racing heart as best as I could once I heard Taylor coming towards me.

" Ana?" he shouted, " Mrs. Grey?"

Swallowing the bile that rose , I walked towards him " I'm right here, Taylor."

" What's wrong?" he asked, surveying everything around me and trying to read my actions at once. Knowing I was probably ashen , and he'd already surmised that something was wrong I pointed towards the open door of the garage.

A tad bit puzzled he walked towards the back of garage, " I'm not sure what I'm looking for Mrs. Grey -," from where I stand outside I hear his sharp intake of breath.

" Dear God, Louis !"

He marches out his face ashen, and for the first time since I've known Taylor I saw tears in his eyes. " I should probably call , Mr. Grey."

Oh God, I haven't even thought about Christian and his reaction. Knowing he'll probably would bark at Taylor, I shake my head no.

"Let me handle him, and you just sort yourself out, okay?"

Looking back at a mangled Louis he walks quickly back to the house, probably to let Mrs. Jones know what's going on. Holy shit, how will Christian behave?

Obviously somebody came into our home and killed our dog. But how? Taylor's always here, for Christ sakes he lives here and even if he's not here there's always Sawyer around. How the hell did someone get the chance to do something like this? Oh, God. Could it have been Jack?

Jesus H. Christ. It could've been him, he's fucked up that kind of way. Okay, Ana. Calm down, slow your heart rate. You were just out of the hospital, you don't need another episode. Okay.

Clean up. Yes! Let's clean up before Christian gets here and go batshit crazy. I take a deep breath in and check my watch, 4:45. Don't have much time, Ana. Looking around the garage I cop a mop, a bucket and a pair of gloves and get to it.

I try my best not to gag as I wrap the remains in a garbage bag.

I should probably bury her, so that Taylor and the kids could say a proper goodbye.

Great idea, Ana.

" Theodore Raymond Grey!"

He stops in the middle of his food fight with the wall looking at me his grey eyes puzzled and a little bit testy. Oh God, he's the spitting image of his father. My two boys!

Smiling at him now, I kiss him firmly on the mouth. " Eat them, Teddy don't throw them."

He silently agrees to my demand and eat his minced vegetables, imitating his favorite miniature monster. Shaking my head, I turn back to the dishes, only to hear the door open.

Holy shit !  Christians here! It's going to be fine, Ana my subconscious chides. Taking a deep breath in I wipe my hands on the dish cloth and watch as Christian bends to give Teddy a kiss on his head.
