Chapter 9: Confused

-Alyssa's POV-

I'm not sure what to do. I can tell I hurt Robert at school today. I didn't want to but I'm not really sure if he's the best choice or not. I mean what if Robert turns on me.. I was with Johnny for three years and he never hurt me, well at least physically. Maybe. I don't know anymore. I need to call Mckenzie and talk this out with her. She always knows what to do in this type of situation.

( a- Alyssa m-Mckenzie)

M- Hello?

A - Hey Kenzie, Can I talk to you for a bit.

M - Well you already got me on the phone so what am i gunna do? Say no?

A - Haha okay. Well you know how I was talking to Mr.Downey and I went out with him for dinner? Well he asked me to be his and I sad yes.

M - Ahhhhhh! No way!

A - Yeah.. but Johnny called an-

M- Hold the fuck up! Johnny called you. What does that son of a bitch want?!

A - Well heres the thing.. Johnny, well. Johnny didn't kill Carmin. She died giving birth.

M - What the fuck?! Wait if she gave birth then wheres the baby?

A - Johnny has him and he wants me back. He thinks that we can raise the baby- Marley - together and give it a good life.

M - Mother fucking ass! You're not going back with him are you?!

A - I was actually planning on it.. I told Robert it was over and that was really hard because I'm pretty sure he started crying. Im just confused on what to do.

M - Girl let me tell you right now that if you go back with Johnny we cant be friends because I know that you know that you can do so much better. I mean come on. He RAPED YOUR BEST FRIEND! Get that in your head Alyssa! I know Robert! You probably don't know this but he just happens to be my uncle! He would never do that to you and he told me all that happened last night so before you called I already knew. He loves you and knowing him he will fight for you. He's never loved some one as much as he loves you.

I am speechless right know and I don't know what to say.

A- I- I just need to think. A-alright?

M- Okay, Im always a call away if you need me..

A- Okay bye.

I hang up. I don't know WHAT to think. Her uncle is my boyfriend? Was my boyfriend I mean. 'I need sleep.' I think. Its a good thing tomorrow is Saturday. I can think then. And with that I am asleep.

- Roberts POV -

Its 5:00pm and I just got out of school. Instead of going home and I just drive. The tears start to fall and I can barely see. I don't care, I need Alyssa. We were together for one day and look at me. I don't just want her... I need her. Right as I come around the corner a semi drives right out in front of me. I hit the brakes but its to late. I go straight into the semi and pain hits me all over. Within seconds I black out.

-Alyssa's POV -

I am woken up by a phone call. Its Mckenzie.

A - Hello?

M - Alyssa its Robert! He's in the E.R., he was in a wreck. He crashed into a semi truck and its pretty bad.

A- IM ON MY WAY!
