“…-ss Mia.” I could hear my name being called. Was it another dream?

“…-cess Mia.” It called again. Who was it? The voice seemed so familiar.

“Princess Mia, please way up.” The voice called again and this time I wake up in shock. Nope, not a dream.

I sat up and looked around me. Light was already penetrating the big window in my room. It wasn’t the same as the light that I had in my dream. This light didn’t engulf everything into white nothingness. My attendant, Heather, jumped in surprise. I looked at her with my half-opened eyes.

“Oh…” I said faintly. “It’s just you Heather.” I added, my rough morning voice trying to make my words audible. I lie back down in hopes of going back to sleep but Heather thinks otherwise.

She tries shaking me. “Princes Mia please wake up. Your parents will be expecting you in twenty minutes. You need to get ready.” She said. I groan.

“Five more minutes.” I say. “No Princess. You’ll get in trouble again if you’re late this time.” Heather got the duvet off of me and I sat up with a grunt.

“There we go. Now, the bath’s ready. Go on and clean yourself up!” she said as she pushed me up and into the bathroom. “Okay, okay.” I said as she bids me goodbye and closes the door.

It wasn’t as big as my room but the bathroom was no joke. At the middle of the room was the bathtub and at the corners were plants and on the walls were paintings of scenes from different seasons. Near the door to my left was the wash area with a gigantic mirror and a sink with a golden faucet. Toiletries were on the marble wash area.

I quickly got into business. I took a bath and soon enough I was already changing into the clothes that Heather prepared for me. It was a blue dress, long sleeved, and had gold patterns near the hems. It was a dress from my second cabinet, the one with the clothes for special occasions.

So what was the special occasion? Snow Day. As the name says it’s the day when the first snow falls onto land. The name isn’t always so accurate though since it always varies. Winter season just started and pretty much everyone is getting excited about Snow Day especially the children.

Now I know it’s pretty hard to believe when a whole kingdom actually celebrates such a day even in these modern times but here at our place snow is like a precious thing, like a sacred animal.

And, oh! I forgot to introduce myself.

Hello, my name is Amelia Rozen but you can call me Mia, only daughter of King Eliot and Queen Zara, and only Princess of modern Arendelle.

I know, why are there still kingdoms when it’s already the age of television and radio right? There are still some kingdoms left you know and the people here happen to really respect and are not willing to give up monarchy. Not to brag but I guess they really love the Royal Family that much.

Arendelle is a kingdom full of history and culture. I’m not a fan of history but even if I doze off during History class most of the time I still do know a bunch of stuff about the kingdom’s past.
