Thomas was acting like of weird these past couple of hours. He's been real quiet...maybe that's just him. He just doesn't seem to be a quiet person. I haven't seen James for a while either. I wonder what's going on...
I walk up to Thomas casually and lean on their counter. "You're awfully quiet, what's up?" I smirk. I'm pretty comfortable with new friends straight away. I'm not a social butterfly, I'm just not shy either. Thomas rubbed his neck. "What would make you feel like somethings the matter?" He asked. I arched a brow. I also happen to be great at reading people. He rubbed his neck immediately, which means he's nervous or he's hiding something. He's avoiding eye-contact, also nervous or lying. He isn't standing up straight which could suggest he's lazy or a little stressed. "Do I need to point out that you're lying to me or are you just gonna make this easy hm?" I crossed my legs. He looked at me in the eye finally and took a deep breath. He's about the lay something heavy on the table.
"James and I are working for the President. We have a Cabinet Meeting tomorrow and it's debating what we should do about the Philippines, they don't want anything to do with America anymore, which cuts off some trade." He said. I look at him in awe. He works for the President? George Washington? He's the second man to be president named George Washington. He's also as good as George Washington. I thought to myself.

"Maybe I could help you." I suggest.
"Very funny."
"No seriously, we used to hold Cabinet Meetings in my town...except with the mayor."

"I'm a smart politician."
"Right, so what do you suppose we do? Try and win their favor back?"
"Well no, regaining a countries trust with trade is a little...no, anyway, consider why they don't trust the country. Trump is running against Hilary for Vice President (( Let me switch that up and keep Washi in the story )) and with Trump bad mouthing all the Spanish people, threatening to build a wall around the country, I'm pretty sure I'd cut off trade too. Perhaps you should suggest a draft statement of equality between races, if it doesn't work, ally someone else to trade with. Like Spain or Italy." I shrugged. Thomas was silent for a moment. "Allying another country is a lot harder than you think." He looked at me. I shrugged my shoulders again. "Worth a try right?"
