RWBY: HERO (Volume 1-3)

Chapter 24

A/N: Sorry. I have to finish this up really quick so I can have time to do my new book for Volume 4. I had to do a lot of work at school, but at least I go some of my grades up for later in for Halloween. Yeah! So enjoy the story.

Henry's POV

I can't believe it. We won! It was like a fight between a lion, tiger, and bear as I watch my little sis and Roger fighting against the other team. It was tremendous! But, my sis got out the same time she tackled the other team's member as we all saw that they were being very aggressive. I don't blame them.

It's a tournament. So now, it's all up to Roger now. And we're all counting in him. We went back to Beacon to get some rest for the finals tomorrow night. I told them to leave me behind, because I wanted to find Ruby and Yang to wish her good luck.

I finally see Ruby as she was was with Weiss as they talk to an older woman that looked a lot like Weiss. She must be Weiss's family member. I walked up to them to greet them.

"Henry! You're here!" Ruby gave me a smile as she hugged me. I felt my face starting to hear up.

She let go and I cleared my throat.

"Hi. Uh, I just wanted to see if you both are doing ok."

"And this is,"

"No one. He's just a friend to Ruby."

Geez. Way to make me feel uncomfortable around here. And worse of all, in front of Ruby?

"Greetings, Ruby Rose. I wish to thank you for taking an interest in my sister."

"Oh! Uh, yes, of course!"

She attempts to salute and curtsy

"The honor is in my... court!"

Nearly losing her balance with this gesture, waving her arms until she can get back up.

"And it's a pleasure to meet you Henry."

"The pleasure is all mine, Miss."

She nodes and looked back at Weiss.

"I have business with the General and your Headmaster. But, seeing as I'm early, why don't you take me to your quarters?"

"Really?" asks Weiss.

As she and Weiss begin walking towards the Academy, followed by the androids, she starts talking again.

"Yes. I wish to inspect them and make sure that they are up to my personal standards."

"Of course. Just so you're aware, the bunk beds only look unstable."

"Bunk beds?"

Ruby and I wave goodbye behind them.

"I'll catch up- I mean, I will... reconvene with you both... at a later..."

She pauses with her hand on her head, wracking her brain for the right word.

"juncture!"

She raises her finger, before stepping out of sight to the left.

"At a juncture. Yeah."

"So, how was your day going?" I ask.

"Pretty good. Yours?"

"Fantastic. Now that I'm with you."

Ruby smiles.

"Hey, can I ask you a big question?"

"You just did."

"Another question?"

"You did it again."
