"Oh? And what is that?"
"You silly."
"Oh. Ok then."
"Ok. Where are you from?"
"Lucian Isles."
"That sounds cool. Anything else?"

I stopped at my track.
"What about you?"
"Oh. Um. Well, ok then."
We started walking.
"My full name is Ruby Rose. I'm 15 years old. My sister is Yang. She's my older sister-"
"Wait, your 15?"
"Yeah. I came to this school early."
"That's cool. I'm 16."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
Ruby now has hot in her eyes. And so do I.
"So, what's your weapon?"
"Oh! I have a scythe. It is also a customizable, high impact velocity sniper rifle."
"Cool."
"What's yours?"
"An electric whiplash."
"You can control lightning with it?"
"Yep. The first time I did it was when I electrocuted my sister when I was walking on the carpet."
Ruby laughed. This is the first time I have ever heard her laugh like this. It sounded so calm and sweet that I would like to hear it all the time for now on. Maybe this might be a good time to ask her about her life.
"So, can you tell me about your life?"
"Um... Maybe some other time ok?"
That's surprising. Why won't she tell me? Does she trust me? I shook it off. Maybe her life story must have been bad. I shook it off.
"Well, want to know my story?"
"Sure."
I told her all about my ups andndpwns with my sister. I made her laugh again. This was the first time I made a girl that I like laugh. Her smile makes me feel bubbly on the inside as she gazes at me with her beautiful grey eyes. I'm glad that I'm friends with her.
"Henry?"
"Yeah?"
"I think it's time for me to go. My sister will flip out for how long I've been out here."
"Mines too."
"Well, thanks for the talk."
"The pleasures all mine."
I took a go we and when I got back up, she covered her cheeks. Why would she do that?
"Um, yeah. Goodnight Henry."
"Goodnight."
She nods her head still holding her cheeks and walks away. I walked the other 21st 28th a big smile on my face. I hope I get to have more conversations with her soon.
