Count Gabriel's office

GABRIEL: My son...

ADRIEN: Yes, Father?

GABRIEL: Have you any news about the grimoire?

ADRIEN: I have information about 2 books that were created by Marinette Dupain-Cheng's grandfather that may be beneficial in my search for the grimoire. I was on my way to retrieve them from her.

GABRIEL: Excellent, my son. Be sure to find it quickly. If I'm to become king, and you prince, we need the grimoire to break the curse Lord Maksis placed on his throne.

ADRIEN: Yes, Father. Is that all you need from me?

GABRIEL: No, my son. You have a few photo shoots to do, so you'll be missing school.

ADRIEN: I understand, Father. I'll inform Nino so he can fill in for me while I'm away from school.

GABRIEL: Very well. You're free to go.

After Adrien called Nino and explained to him about the photo shoots, Nino informed the others, and filled in for Adrien.

The 3rd Library

MAGE: I just thought of something. Why are we wasting a golden opportunity when Adrien's busy with the work his old man is making him do?

URIE: Don't be silly, Mage. That's my butterfly.

MAGE: Yeah, right. I'm gonna get the girl and the grimoire. It'll be a piece of cake.

(Urie and Mage fill a breeze and turn around to see the doors open and Shiki gone)

URIE: Shiki?!?!?!

MAGE: Dang it!! How the heck did that worm get the jump on us?!??!

(Mage and Urie go after him)

The store

MARINETTE: Spray paint, check. I think we need some more fabric and table clothes.

ALYA: I swear, not 1 boy has even bothered to help us with these supplies for the festival. How are the 2 of us supposed to get all of this back to school?

MARINETTE: I think the store offers delivery. Let's go up and ask.

ALYA: All right. I'll go and make the delivery schedule. Stay where I can see you at all times.

MARINETTE: Yes, Alya.

(Marinette sees Adrien's dog, Loewen, and it walks away.)

Before Marinette went after Loewen, she tells Alya that she was going to step outside for a minute. She follows Loewen to the park before grabbing him.

(Marinette sits down with the Pomeranian and checks his tag)

MARINETTE: I was right. You do belong to Adrien. Why were you in the store?

(Loewen jumps onto Marinette's lap)

MARINETTE: Aww, so cute.

(Marinette pets the Pomeranian.)

Just then, Loewen transforms into a human form, shocking Marinette, and prompting her to push him off her.

(Marinette hears her phone ring, but Loewen gets in her way)

LOEWEN: If you could please ignore your phone for a moment, I'd like to offer my assistance. I have information about the grimoire that I think will help you in your search for your mother.
