2 weeks had passed since Marinette's 18th birthday and the curse on Lord Maksis' throne was broken. Everyone across the vampire and devil realms were informed about the truth about not only Sabine's connection to Lord Maksis, but also about Marinette being the rightful heir to the throne. As anyone expected, Chloe & Lila were beyond angry and shocked that someone like Marinette was destined to be queen.
3 days before Marinette's coronation, Marinette, Sabine, and her council managed to make peace with the devils. Eventually, their treaty with the devils lead to a new dawn for the vampires and devils, as well as make the vampire monarch rule over both vampires and devils.
(Time skip) The day of Marinette's coronation
Nadja Chamack (over the news): Good evening. Today is special day for us all, for today is the coronation of Princess Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the long-lost daughter of Lord Maksis. Almost 2 weeks ago, we learned that Sabine was a human from the earth realm, but she created a union with Lord Maksis, and that union led to the birth of Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the1st human child born with royal vampire blood in over 600 years. After breaking the curse Lord Maksis placed on his throne, Marinette and Sabine began to rebuild the realm to its former glory, as well as create peace with the devils. From what I was told by the princess' future subjects, the future is bright with her as the next queen.
