Dance with Vampires

Chapter 13 (part 1)

Alya and the others fought off Lord Nesta's subjects. Loewen manipulated the shadows to take the form of dogs to attack the shadows of the devils, which killed them.

SHIKI: I think there needs to be punishment (shoots the sharp feathers from his wings at the devils, killing them)

Mage shoots lighting at the devils, and Urie uses his rose as a weapon to suffocate the devils. Adrien used his destructive touch on devils, Nino was an expert swordsman so he fought with his sword, and Nathaniel used his devil powers and claws to kill devils. As for Alya, she was occupied with fighting Jek.

NESTA: The time has come for devils to triumph.

Before Nesta could do anything, Marinette found a nearby floor candle holder, and used that to hit Nesta in the face. When she was free, she used her powers to attack Nesta. Nesta blocked the attack. When Marinette had the chance, she used a spell she learned from Tikki on how to weaponize her weapon.

MARINETTE: Crystemsabrus! (her yo-yo turns into a sword)

NESTA: So, this is how it'll have to be. (draws out his sword) Very well, then.

Marinette and Nesta's fighting song (skip to about 1:06; where the fight starts):

MARINETTE: Crystal Offensio!!

NESTA: You're a worthy fighter, Marinette, but it's not enough to save your loved ones.

Nesta withdrew his sword, and used his magic to fight Marinette. When he through an electrical energy blast at Marinette, she flew into the air to dodge it. Nesta followed her approach, and flew into the air to attack her again. Nathaniel sees this, and goes over to help Alya with Jek.

NATHANIEL: Alya, I'll hold off Jek. Go help Marinette!

ALYA: Right! (flies off)

Back to Marinette, she was fighting Nesta with all her strength, but it looked like they were evenly matched. Alya intervened, and created another illusion of multiple Marinettes before striking Lord Nesta with a Crystal Offensio spell.

NATHANIEL: By the sacred name, you will obey me. Be driven out by my hand!

JEK: Get away from me! (dodges Nathaniel's blows) You disgust me! How could you betray the man whose blood runs through your veins? You turn on your own father!

NATHANIEL: I have no father!

JEK: Fool! It's only a matter of time before you're on your knees begging for Lord Nesta's mercy.

NATHANIEL: I'd rather die than serve that monster!

Jek scratches Nathaniel on his chest, causing Nathaniel to back away. Before Jek could deliver another blow to Nathaniel, he ended up stepping into a trap. When Nathaniel had the chance, he delivered one final blow to Jek, causing him to be impaled to death on a statue.

JEK: Master, forgive me. (his body turns into dust)

When Nesta was distracted upon seeing that Jek was killed, Marinette took the opportunity, and slashed him in the chest. When Marinette and Alya were about to attack him again, he used a spell to repel them.

NESTA: Truncolus!!

Nesta looked over at the vampires fighting his servants, but seeing Nathaniel caught his eye. This causes Lord Nesta to come up with a plan.
