Chapter 2 : Are you Alright?

Kagome's P.O.V

By the time I got out of the well to the feudal era InuYasha came in with shippo, having a smug look on his face"I thought you were gonna come tomorrow" he said raising an eyebrow while grinning.

InuYasha P.O.V

"I thought you were gonna come tomorrow," I said raising an eyebrow while grinning. "InuYasha! How dare you, Kagome just came back and that's how you greet her? Geez, no wonder she gets mad at you" Shippo said.

I hit him in the head leaving a bump on his head."No Shippo, It was my fault in the first place for not saying anything" Kagome said, "Yeah it was your fau-" . . . wait a minute why would Kagome say that? usually, she would scold me or something''

''Hey Kagome are you alright?" I asked.

"Eh? why would you ask that I'm perfectly fine" she said smiling at the ground with a slight of the worried look.

As expected, she wouldn't answer I mean, obviously knew that asking would have gotten me nowhere... but it was worth a shot. ''Kagome if anything's bothering you, You can always tell me," I said

"Thanks, InuYasha..." she whispered walking away, going to the village.

"InuYasha, did you say anything to Kagome?" Shippo asked.

"Ehh?! Why me?!" I exclaimed. "Well if it's not you, why is Kagome acting so unusual? " he asked, "I don't-"

"InuYasha? Shippo?" Miroku said, comming along with Sango and Kirara."Is anything wrong?" He asked

"Yeah I heard you guys talking about Kagome" Sango added.

"Well, Kagome just came back from the well acting unusual," I said.

"Maybe something's come up in her world'' Miroku said, "I think so but-" I heard Kagome nearing towards us.

"Hey guys, what are you talking about come on let's go inside it's about to rain so hurry up," Kagome said softly

"Uhh..Y-yeah.",I said

X x -Kaede's House- x X

"Ahh Inuyasha, You're the here good thing because I sense a heavy rain coming."Kaede said and as she said it did start raining. As I looked at Kagome's eyes they were filled with despair as she was looking at the floor trying to hide it with her hair.."Kagome, can you please ready the tea?"Kaede said.

Kagome's P.O.V

So much for making every moment last plan now that the rain started to fall. I'll end up having a day wasted, I thought to myself "Kagome, could you please ready the tea?" Kaede said.

"A-ah Sure Kaede'' i said regaining my consciousness and smiling trying to hide everything even though I knew that everyone could easily see through me...

"Kagome, why don't I help you?" Sango said, "N-no thank you sango, this is the least I can do for you guys."

Sango's P.O.V

"Kagome, why don't I help you?" I said offering help to kagome.

"N-no thank you sango, this is the least I can do for you guys'' she said.

"Huh? what are you talking about Kagome" by the time I asked that her eyes suddenly widened looking at me. after that everyone started staring at us. I'm guessing this had something to do with her acting weird all of a sudden.

"U-uh that's because every time in our battles, you guys were always fighting and I would mostly end up being useless." she stated.

"Kagome you shouldn't be thinking about that! everyone thinks you're a great help right?" I said.

"Yeah!" they said. "You think so?" she said staring at the floor "But even so please allow me to do this," she said looking at me with a faint smile.

Kagome, I dont want you to start thinking you're useless. also, I want you to help me help you in understanding you more by opening up yourself to us because I know you wouldn't be upset by such a trivial matter...
