Chapter 4 - What Do you Mean?

[Mina POV]

Today I had another day off, it was like a holiday so I didn't work today, neither did Yuru.

I was wondering where Yoongi and Jimin went off to yesterday... it was like they were afraid...

After I saw them in the café yesterday, I went in and said hi. Then midway, Jimin said he had to leave and also Yoongi. I really wanted to talk to them more. They seem really nice!

Also... Jungkook, it seemed like I knew him, but where? Agh! I feel so horrible, he seemed so familiar to me.

Was he a classmate of mine back in middle school? It's been years...

Anyways, Yuru and I went to the mall and did our usual girl bonding until we came across the cafeteria.

I saw Jungkook! And he was all alone, drinking something from a white foam cup.

"Hey, let's sit there." I said, pointing at him. Yuru had to look hard because there were a bunch of people, plus it was extremely busy.

She had to push her glasses until she gasped.

"Him? Why, do you know him?" She asked.

I just nodded and grabbed her hand to pull her along with me.

Once we were in his sight, he just looked at us startled. He had a black beanie on, a black hoodie, black pants, and his usual timberlands.

His eyes sparkled again. Was I beginning to like him...? No! What the hell, that only happens in fairytales.

More importantly, where did I see him? I definitely knew him somewhere. Was it school?

[Jungkook POV]

Mina!? Why was she here...!? She wasn't working today either? Agh, I was trying to ignore her.

Wait.

Ugh, right. Namjoon-hyung wanted one of us to invite her to our place later. I still think it's a bad idea though.

But Mina, she still looked like herself in that photo. Does she remember me? She can't though, it's been how many years since we graduated, eight years? I already forgot.

I hate how I can't drink regular drinks during the night, so I always take opportunities to drink whatever I can during the day. My mood begins to swing at night... and I know all the other hyungs complain.

"M-Mina?" I spoke hesitantly. She even had someone next to her, she was small... can I pull a small joke on her? No, that would be rude.

"Jungkookshi! You're here?" She asked.

All I did was show her a quiet smile... but then it began to widen.

What the hell was I thinking? Yoongi obviously liked her... but why did I feel something between us?

See, this is why we should just stay away from her. I'll probably hurt her.
