Chapter 8 - You Aren't Normal

[Mina POV]

We made camp in this nice grassy, dirt area away from the pathway in case anyone spots us, like the police or whatever the hell could come out.

At this point, it was about 6PM... the sun hasn't set yet which was pretty good.

Although, I was not feeling myself whatsoever. My head began to spin so much after we helped out Jimin once he fainted. I couldn't really taste anything and whatever I ate began to have a bland taste. I feel like the boys are starting to realize I was acting weird ever since I was frantic in having to get water.

Bora and I were in paired up for one tent, Jimin and Jungkook were paired for one, Taehyung and Hoseok were paired, and Jin, Namjoon, and Yoongi were paired for the larger tent. 

"I didn't expect us to camp. Ugh, Bora! I thought you said we were going to keep walking along the path!" Jimin yelped. Bora rolled her eyes at him and began to laugh.

"...What?" He questioned. 

"It's just, you remind me of a person I knew back in school." She then slightly turned towards Jungkook. Did they perhaps have some type of trips that involved camping?

"Weird, suddenly I remember about those frequent camp trips we had as a class." Jungkook mumbled. It seemed like no one had an immediate response to his comment except me.

What was going on?

"Let's just be glad the moon hasn't risen! Let's build a campfire and cook some food so we can leave early tomorrow morning. How's that?" Jin suggested. We all agreed and began to go into work.

I was finishing up the tents until—

Thump.

I froze and clenched my chest. Okay for real, what was going on!?

"U-Uh, I'll be right back. I think I dropped something over there." I said, pointing to an area that was dark and had no light shown on it.

"Oh okay, just don't wander off too far." Bora mentioned. I nodded, my head still throbbing from my headache. I felt like I was going to faint soon. I needed water...

I needed...

[Jungkook POV]

Mina wasn't herself.

I was sensing that for already 20 minutes. I mean, she looked so... dead. Usually she would be smiling or a bit more active, but something was happening that caused her to look extremely sick.

It seems like I was the only one who noticed, maybe also Jimin and Yoongi. They seemed worried too, but they didn't mention anything at all.

Ugh, she was the one who helped us with finding Bora. I'm going to see if she's okay...

I dropped whatever I was doing, which was finding some firewood, and tried finding her, but literally she was so silent I didn't hear any voice from her.

It was around 6:30... the sun was beginning to set, and the moon was rising. Shit.

"Jungkookie, where are you going?" Yoongi asked me, who completely startled me.

"Damn! Don't scare me, hyung." I said, rubbing my head. I glanced up to the sky and sighed, well. We had no choice did we.

Red smoke began to surround me as my body was being engulfed by the moonlight that was shining. Since I was basically acting like a totem pole towards Yoongi, he wasn't shined by the light yet.

I got my fangs, and red eyes. The usual.

"Ah, I can't wait til' all of this stops. Don't you think?" I said, jokingly to Yoongi.
