Chapter 13 - Alter Ego

[Mina POV]

I saw Jungkook shaking so much, and sweating. He was moving around and clenching his fists. Was he having bad visions?

"The day is almost over, we should start moving tomorrow morning. I can't believe we wasted another day from this." Bora said, a bit annoyed and went towards the main camping area.

I sighed. I didn't know what was going on with Jungkook, but I felt so bad. Whatever he was mumbling about before made me worry.

I glanced up, the sun was beginning to set, and he hasn't woken up yet. All he has been doing was just shaking and panting.

What am I going to do?

"Ugh..." I heard from nearby. I looked and saw Jimin waking up, his eyes back to normal, back to his beautiful brown eyes. I'm assuming the power from whatever came out of Jungkook just reached Jimin, causing him to unleash that false alter ego.

But if vampires have alter egos, does that mean I do? Oh my god... I don't want to go through that.

"Mina, may I talk to you?" Yoongi called me. I turned around, seeing him smile at me, but it was like a smile that was forced.

I stood up, turning my body towards Jimin, who was trying to fix himself up until I finally walked with Yoongi. Only Jungkook was the one who didn't wake up yet.

"Back there," he began. "That was a power that we never seen when we lived together." Yoongi said, worriedly.

"Jungkook is in the worst state out of all of us. He's considered a bad vampire, Mina. Those types of vampires hold grudges and seek blood when they want. His red eyes explain it. He's trying to have Jimin join him to the dark side and make him into a bad vampire, which means his yellow eyes are what he wants to change." He explained.

"But, that's not his true self wanting that, isn't it?"

Yoongi shook his head, sighing.

"It's just what Bora said, vampires have alter egos. Whatever that grudge is, it begins to form inside of them. Sometimes, they become really bad and affect the real personality. Compare Jungkook and Jimin. Jimin hates drinking human blood unless he needs too, Jungkook does but sometimes, since he has mixed personalities, it depends. His alter ego hasn't consumed his real human self. That alter ego is the vampire we don't want to see." He finished, taking a breath.

I began to shiver, fearing something like that is going to happen to me. But, I think it just has to be really bad grudges, right...?

"Are you saying Jungkook has a monster that is forming inside of him?" I asked. Yoongi nodded, I dropped to the ground, covering my mouth. I had a feeling something like this would happen.

"Jimin... he's okay right now, but those two can't be together if one of them transforms, especially Jungkook. Whatever is inside can reach to Jimin, leaking out any access of grudge and will force Jimin to change to a bad vampire. If worse comes to worse, Jungkook can't stay out tonight or any nights until this is all fixed."

I began to tear up. I also couldn't believe how Yoongi knew a lot of things. Bora honestly hasn't done anything huge except for the barrier for Seokjin.

"But, Yoongi... this all happened during the day. His alter-ego can come out anytime soon." I then remembered how it all happened. "Wait a sec... he wanted blood in the beginning. Hold on." I ran to Jungkook, hearing footsteps behind me which belonged to Yoongi.

I saw a nearby stick and was about to cut my wrist, but Yoongi grabbed the stick and threw it away from me.

"Wait! If we want to prevent the bad vampire to come out, we need to give him animal blood." He said. I looked at him, thinking, until something rang a bell.
