Angel laughed drunkenly as she staggered to the bathroom. She was at some rich kid's party, who she didn't know. All she knew was that this club was awesome and that she had Tigerblaze waiting for her at home. Guilt surged through her as she remembered what her girlfriend had said. "You come home drunk one more time and we're done, you hear me?" Tigerblaze warned, her voice cracking. She was so close to tears and yet Angel still partied on. "What is this? Third, maybe fourth party I've gone to this week?" She asked herself, the alcohol making her memory fuzzy. She staggered into a bathroom stall, then threw up as the alcohol became too much for her. She wiped her mouth, regretting all the drinking. After several minutes of labored breathing, she sat up.
She walked out of the bathroom and heard a hiss. She turned around and saw something slither past a woman, snarling and licking its lips. Angel tensed at the sight of the monster. "If it sees me I'm done for..." She murmured, walking away. Something roared and she turned around again, her blood running cold. She took off running, the snake demon following behind her. "Dammit dammit dammit!" Angel shouted, jumping over tables and through people. The snake demon crashed through the obstacles, sending the party into chaos. People began screaming and running, trampling several people. Angel grinned evilly as she realized she now had an advantage. She reached down to her boots and pulled out two golden Desert Eagles, reloaded them, then pointed them at the snake demon.
She fired quickly and precisely, puncturing several holes in the demon. Acid poured from its body as it writhed in pain. She grinned as she spun the pistols, glad that seven years of training had helped her. The demon lunged and she leapt over it, shooting several holes in its back. She landed behind the demon, which had crashed into the bar and spilled drinks everywhere. The club was now abandoned, save for Angel and the snake demon. "Listen up, lizard boy!" She jeered. The snake demon snarled at her and she giggled. "You think you can come here and ruin my good time? You're dead wrong!" She exclaimed, firing several rounds into the demon. It screeched as the bullets punched through its hide and important organs, then fell dead. It exploded into dust and Angel spun her pistols, then slid them back into her boots. "Damn, that felt good." She said, stretching. Her eyes widened at the sound of police sirens outside the building.
"Welp, time for Hell's Angel to scram!" She said to herself. She ran out the back door, spread her wings, and got ready for take off. A sudden buzz interrupted her and she pulled out her phone. If was a message from Tigerblaze that simply read "Come home now. He's here and he's with someone." Angel sighed, texted back with "I'll be right there, kitten.", and pocketed her phone. She took off, letting the wind currents carry her to the house. She looked back and saw the police breaking down the door, guns aimed inside. She chuckled. "Silly boys, I took care of your problem already!" She whispered, then rose higher into the sky. She hid in the clouds, occasionally passing by flocks of birds. Angel stretched, enjoying the view. "Seven years and he finally contacts us, huh?" Angel murmured, swooping down to the ground.
She landed in front of a huge white mansion, being careful not to entangle her wings in the white roses planted near the door. She shrunk her wings back and knocked on the door, which was immediately opened by Tigerblaze. "Keller's inside. Welcome home." She said coldly. Angel sighed. "Kitten, I'm sorry! I just wanted to have a little fun, you know?" Angel said. Tigerblaze huffed. "Alice, I don't care. I worry about you every time you step outside and start drinking and partying. It pisses me off that you do that all the time! Seriously, what about Blaze? What about me?! You can't keep running off like this! Do you even care?!" Tigerblaze shouted. Angel winced. "I do care..." She replied, sadness in her eyes. Tigerblaze glared at her, then sighed. "I didn't mean to yell... Sorry. I'm just scared about losing you." Tigerblaze said. Angel shook her head and hugged her girlfriend. "You'll never lose me. Now let's go and say hi to them, alright?" Angel said. Tigerblaze nodded and the two of them walked inside, holding hands.
They walked in and saw Shadowraven sitting on a couch, talking with Blaze and Keller. A woman sat next to him, leaning close to him. She was smiling sweetly at the two men, occasionally speaking up. Angel looked at the woman, then at Shadowraven, then at Tigerblaze. Tigerblaze sighed. "That's Samantha. She's using Rose's alias in her honor. Hopefully, she doesn't die..." Tigerblaze told Angel. "Oh. Wait, wasn't she the girl who passed away?" Angel asked. Tigerblaze nodded, then quickly filled Angel in. Angel sighed. "She could've just waited until Shadowraven discovered his magic." She said. Tigerblaze shrugged. "She didn't want to accidentally hurt someone, Angel Cake. You know why we ran." She replied. Angel stayed quiet. "Let's get acquainted then, shall we?" She asked, straightening her jacket and quickly brushing her pale blonde hair. Tigerblaze smiled. "Even as a party girl, you still look amazing." She said. Angel blushed slightly. "I'm not you, who looks great in anything." She replied sheepishly. Tigerblaze laughed as the two walked towards the newest Charmcaster.
