Serena watched through her glass as she realized that Shadowraven was right. The First, with the use of godly blood and human blood, had awakened the final god. Ourous, a magnificent green snake wearing armor and huge white wings erupting from his back glared down at the ocean. Even though snakes didn't have arms, Ourous did. He was, after all, not just a snake god. He was an Elder God, a creature who was just as powerful as any god created. Ourous roared, his green reptilian eyes filled with hate. "Monroe! You have to see this!" She exclaimed, her voice laced with worry. Monroe ran in, then gasped as he saw Ourous. The sword spirit stared in horror at the four creatures who were now speaking. "Serena... We have to help Shadowraven defeat them." He said. Serena looked at him as if he had grown an extra head and a tail.
"You want me to help him?" Serena asked. Monroe nodded, pointing at the screen. "There's only two people who can actually defeat Ourous. A descendant of Titania or a bearer of the Drakensang. Midnight Fang isn't exactly a descendant of Titania since she was chosen to be the assassin to represent her, not be her. Shadowraven is the only one who is actually related to Titania." Monroe replied. Serena sighed as she thought of the assassin, who was laying in bed with a mechanical heart pumping blood through her instead of an actual heart. She shook her head and Monroe frowned. "Serena, stop acting like a child! We may be trying to make the world a better place but the deaths of millions of innocent people isn't the way to do it!" He shouted. Serena glared at him, her eyes a deep shade of violet instead of their usual blue. Put a stray strand of white hair behind her ear, then turned to Monroe completely. "You want me to help that stupid little shadow defeat an undefeatable creature?" She snarled. Monroe glared back at her, his eyes reflecting her intensity.
Serena looked away first, clenching her fists in anger. "Fine, we'll help them. Not because you told me to, but because I don't want him to get hurt. The strain of the Void to keep reality from tearing itself apart is affecting me too." She replied. She coughed, some blood accompanying the air. She wiped the blood away with her arm, then fixed her blue dress. Monroe handed her a purple potion, which she took and drank. "Thanks." She replied, her usual perkiness reappearing. She smiled, then walked over to a table that had several maps drawn on it. "Monroe, do you think you know where he's gonna land?" She asked. Monroe shook his head. Serena pointed to an area of the map, which was simply labeled as "old base". Monroe's eyes widened. "He's going to land at Shadowraven's old base?" He asked. Serena nodded, her eyes filled with worry but her face like stone.
"They're going to use the first Charmcaster's grave as a means to draw infinite power from the Void. Shadowraven, without realizing it, had created a monolith." She explained. Monroe simply stared at the spot on the map, his brows furrowed in concentration. "So if we destroy the monolith they won't land there?" He asked. Serena shook her head. "We destroy the monolith and they'll arrive through traveling through the Void. We'll also anger Shadowraven on such a scale that he'll blast everything on the earth into the Void." Serena replied. Monroe blinked in surprise, slightly shocked at the answer. "Can he actually do that?" He asked. Serena shrugged, then pointed at the glass. "He killed an apocalyptic and three gods. He's capable of anything." She said.
Monroe shuddered as Serena went back to looking at the map. "I could set up Tigerblaze and Angel here-" she pointed to a building several feet away "-and then set up Blaze and Keller at the back. Charmcaster, Shadowraven and me could take on the First." She said. Monroe shook his head. "You're not taking on that thing with only three people." He said. Serena giggled. "It's six, silly. Me, you, Shadowraven, Elizabeth, Charmcaster, and Ragnarok!" She exclaimed. Monroe sighed, then smiled slightly. "Alright, you got me there. Now let's tell Shadowraven your amazing plan." He said. Serena smiled, then snapped. The two of them disappeared in a flash of light.
