The First looked to the sky, the thunderstorm above the city making him wince in fear. He was following Gamuza, who was several feet ahead of him. They had all camouflaged into a human form, but they still stuck to the shadows and stayed as far from each other as possible. Ourous was next to Gamuza, pretending to be her fellow officer on duty. The First was an elderly man, with Divein pretending to be his teenage grandson. Gamuza was leading them to the source of incredible magic, the monolith near the sea. It was in the abandoned part of the city, the warehouse district the city never used. Lighting crackles and thunder shook the sky, yet the city people kept walking. The First glanced up again, Divein looking up with him. "God seems pretty pissed about something. You think it's us?" He asked. The First shook his head, walking into an alley Gamuza and Ourous had walked into.

"He seems angry about something else..." Replied the First. Divein didn't look so convinced, most of it due to the fact that even a creature as dangerous as the First could be terrified of a storm from God. The four of them continued to walk down the alley in relatively uncomfortable silence. Every once in a while, lightning would streak the sky and thunder would soon follow, shaking the earth to its core. The First thought of his brother, sleeping underneath the earth, enjoying the comfortable silence and loneliness he could never have. The First bit his tongue, holding back a roar of rage when the thunder became unbearable. Suddenly, the lightning storm stopped as did Gamuza. "We're almost there... Divein, get read to make runes. Ourous and First, get ready for combat. I'll help Divein with the runes." She said, turning to face the men. They nodded and shed their disguises, then began to walk towards the abandoned district.

They arrived as soon as the night had appeared, throwing it's cloak over the world. They followed Gamuza and Divein, who were looking around for the monolith. The First sniffed the air, the magical energy rippling through the air like a knife trailing ripples in the water. The First slowly walked towards the source of the ripples, his scales tingling with magic. The energy caused his scales to begin to clatter against themselves, almost as if they were alive and wanted to fly off the First. He stopped at the edge of a tomb, which was leaking magic. On the tomb lay a single red rose. The First grinned. "I've found it!" He crowed, then looked over at the other three. They were running towards him, Gamuza's sword drawn and the tips of Divein's claws glowing with a blue light. "Get carving, Shadowraven will definitely come here. I have a feeling the tomb is enchanted to send a signal when someone is trying to intrude on it." The First snarled. Gamuza and Divein nodded and began to carve sigils into the ground, the symbols glowing brightly.

A sudden flash of light stopped the two. The force of the light threw them back, forcing them to crash into a wall. The First snarled and charged into the light, the sensation of being trapped in it reminding him of when he was trapped in heaven and forced to be an experiment. He roared and the light cleared, revealing the sigils to be perfectly fine. "Get up you two. Finish this, me and Ourous will handle the brats." Snarled the First. The two stood up, staggered, then walked to the tomb. They began to carve more sigils, panic in every moment and swift cut into the ground. They weren't going to be done for a while, but they needed to move quickly if they wanted to open a portal to release their brethren. The thought of the hero they fought coming back and fighting them caused Divein and Gamuza to hurry, completing one circle of the sigils. "Alright Divein, six more and we'll defeat them!" She crowed. Divein smiled and started on the second circle.
