A woman with silver hair and a fox mask watched as her target ran through the streets. He wasn't going to get far due to her supernatural abilities. She looked at the ledge that was ahead of the monster, then closed her eyes. She felt the pull in her stomach, the sudden cold, then she opened her eyes as she reappeared on the ledge. She unsheathed a black dagger, flicked on her hood, then leaped off the building, her pitch black clothing hiding her in the dark. She lunged out and cut at the monster's feet, causing him to trip. She quickly ran forward and snapped it's neck, ending the creature's suffering. She murmured a quick prayer then stood up, the moon behind her. "Well Moriarty, that was easy." She murmured. The blade gleamed and revealed a woman's face, her hair pitch black and her eyes blue. "Don't call me by my father's last name. Please Midnight, I don't want to be reminded of what he's done." Replied the woman.

The woman, Midnight Fang, sighed. "Fine. I'm sorry Felicia." She said. Felicia straightened up, a smile on her face. "You're forgiven Midnight Fang." She replied. Midnight Fang sighed again and threw her blade. The blade flashed and then Felicia landed. She was wearing a white dress with a red corset, her black hair pulled back in a ponytail. She smiled at her master, planting a quick kiss on her cheek. Midnight Fang blushed furiously and wiped her cheek. "I told you Felicia, you're not my mom! Stop acting like you are!" She snarled. It was Felicia's turn to sigh. "But you're as reckless as a hyperactive five year old!" She whined. Midnight Fang growled. "I'm not reckless. I'm very careful. That's what being an assassin is about." She said. Felicia pinched Midnight Fang's cheek. Midnight Fang squeaked, then glared. "I'm sorry Felicia. I'll try to be more careful." She snarled. Felicia smiled and let go of her cheek.

"Good girl. Now get ready, here comes company." Felicia said, pointing to the winged figure flying towards them. Aislinn landed in front of them, her wings folding into her back. "Aislinn. What are you doing here?" Asked Midnight Fang. "Serena wants to talk to you. She has a new job for you." Aislinn replied. Felicia sighed, then looked up. "What's Amber gonna say about this?" She asked, looking up to the sky. Aislinn smacked Felicia's arm, glaring. "She doesn't know. Now stay quiet or I'll kill you." Aislinn snarled. Felicia's eyes widened at the angel's remark. "You're gonna be in a huge amount of trouble with the big G, Aislinn." Felicia chuckled. Aislinn rolled her eyes and then spread her wings, making her look more menacing. Felicia simply raised an eyebrow as Midnight Fang plucked a feather from the angel. Aislinn winced, then folded her wings back. "Tell her I'm coming." Midnight Fang said finally. She tucked the feather in her pocket.

Aislinn spread her wings and took to the sky. Midnight Fang watched, nodded to Felicia who then changed into her sword form, and then took the feather out. She clenched her fist around it and closed her eyes, focusing on where the angel was going. She felt her body tingle, the sudden cold, and then she reappeared next to Aislinn. She felt her feet hit cement and she opened her eyes, smiling. "You did use a portal to get here. Glad my hunch was correct." Midnight Fang said, letting the feather drop to the floor. She opened her hand and Moriarty was in it, gleaming dangerously. "Who's my next target, Serena?" She asked the snow haired woman.

"Funny you should ask. He's in your family." Serena replied. Midnight Fang raised and eyebrow. "You mean the male side to the Shadow bloodline?" She asked. Serena nodded, then turned to Midnight Fang. "He's gotten stronger than you, Ruth. He's freed his dragon blade. Have you?" She asked Midnight Fang. Midnight Fang breathed, then reached out. She felt through the Void, then grabbed a sheathed sword. She pulled, the sword and sheath coming towards her. She grabbed the blade's handle, a broad sword had an oriental dragon as the cross guard. The sheath was brown and the handle was an autumn red. "Unsheathe, Fall Maiden." She murmured, unsheathing a vibrant orange blade that had brown spots on it. Serena whistled, clearly impressed. "Dragon against maiden. Not bad." She said. Midnight Fang smiled, then sheathed her blade and placed it back in the Void. She suddenly began to cough and Felicia appeared next to her, holding her to stop her from falling over. "Fang? What's wrong?" Felicia asked.

Midnight Fang kept coughing, blood replacing the air that was being expulsed from her lungs. Felicia handed her something, which she took. It was a pill. Midnight Fang popped it in her mouth and then swallowed, her coughing slowly calming down. "Void magic is still too strong for you. Rest, then get ready to face Shadowraven. He's crazy strong." Serena said. Midnight Fang nodded, then closed her eyes. "Hey, no magic. Just walk upstairs to the guest room." Serena said. Midnight Fang nodded, opening her eyes. She quickly ran upstairs to the guest room. She knew where it was. She'd stayed there before, when she was injured from the oh so many missions Serena sent her on. She opened the door, walked in, kicked it shut, then flopped on the bed. After several minutes, she began to snore. Tomorrow, she'd face the man who was her brother. Tomorrow, all hell broke loose. Tomorrow, she'd show Felicia she was an adult. Tomorrow she'd show them all.
