Tokyo Ghoul: Connection

"I'm coming with you." I say.

"You can't. You could get hurt or possibly even die. Are you willing to do that?" Touka asks.

"Of course I am! He's my brother!" I yell.

Wouldn't you do the same for the people you love?

Touka's eyes widen at my response for a moment but then she acts as if nothing happened.

"Fine. Just know that you aren't my responsibility." Touka begins to walk forward. "Now lets go."

[At Aogiri Tree's hideout]

We're all disguised in cloaks identical to the ones that Aogiri Tree members wear. Up ahead is Touka and ahead of her is Yomo.

As we're running, several of us end up fighting either a CCG member or a Aogiri Tree member. Uta, Yomo, amd Tsukiyama are one of those people. The only ones left are Touka, Nishiki, and I.

"Where next?" I ask.

"It's just this way!" Touka responds.

Almost right after, a boy with short blue hair appears out of nowhere.

"You two keep going!" I say.

"You better catch up with us later! And don't you even think about dying on us!" Touka says.

"Trust me, I'm coming back." I respond. "One way or another..."

"Don't make promises you can't keep!" The boy uses his wings to shoot projectiles at me

I barely managed to avoid all but one of them. It grazes my cheek, leaving a small scar.

All of a sudden, I feel an almost unbearable pain around my wrists and ankles.

Not this again... What's going on with Kaneki?

Just as I'm about to lose my balance and fall, the blue haired boy grabs me by my neck and slams me against the wall.

"I hope you know you're gonna die today." He says.

I grab his arm and try to move it but to no avail.

"You want me to let you go? Then here!" He throws me into a different wall.

I try to get up but the pain from earlier comes back again only worse, making me want to scream. I hold it in and force myself to sit up. I almost fall back down but I catch myself, only to have my face forcefully pressed into the ground.

"You might as well just stay down. You're too weak to even do anything." He says.
