Hide wraps his arms around me and embraces me.
"Hide..."
I can smell him...his flesh... It actually smells...good...
I wrap my arms around him, resisting the urge to do what ghouls are known for doing.
He lets me go and looks at me for a second. I turn my head, not wanting him to see my face.
"You're still as pretty as always..." Hide smiles. "And just as shy too."
"You... You don't mind do you?" I ask.
"Not at all. A friend is a friend... no matter what happens."
"Are you even aware Hide? Are you aware of what's going on?"
"Aware that I could possibly kill you...?"
"Of course I am. But I don't care..." Hide says.
"I should've known..." I laugh.
Only certain things matter to Hide when it comes to that...
I walk towards the door again but this time Hide lets me.
"I'm sorry... Just...be careful. Ok?" I say, putting my hand around the door handle.
"I'll be careful. Bye."
"Bye Hide."
