Luke's POV "So why were you in my bed then" I asked Katie
She took a deep breath " well so I brought you home last night and Lilly home, I put Lilly to bed and then I came back into your room to make sure that you were going to go to sleep and you were standing in the middle of your room, you didn't know what you were doing. So I handed you sweatpants and I grabbed some clothes cause I was planning on sleeping on the couch because it was close to 2:00am." She said " I came out of the bathroom and you were standing there in your underwear doing nothing again, I had asked again what you were doing and you said that you didn't want to wear those sweatpants," she said trying not to laugh" so I handed you a pair of black ones and you said no, so then I handed you a pair of the same ones like the first pair, same color and everything and you were happy with those" she said giggling " ya sorry I didn't warn you about drunk me. But don't worry he only comes out like 2 times a year" I said and winked at her. She nodded her head " but you still didn't answer my question" I said " god I'm getting there just chill for a sec" she said " so then I went to go downstairs and you wanted to know where I was going. Then you said that I could sleep in your bed and that you would sleep on the floor, but you sleeping on the floor only lasted like 5 minutes, you got back into bed. But like I was too tired to deal with it, so I went to sleep" she said "Oh damn I'm sorry" I said and rubbed the back of my neck embarrassed. "It's all good" she said " you know your really funny drunk but how was your night before me dragging you out of the bar" she asked " uh well it was good" I said " uh well your friend Hannah was trying to throw herself at me" I said She just rolled her eyes " she also tried to grind on me" I said " oh wow " Katie said and raised her eyebrows and giggled " what" I asked " well you kinda grinded on me last night" she said " oh" I said " sorry about that" she smiled " actually you couldn't keep your hands off me but it was nothing bad you were drunk your fine" she blushed I put my hands over my eyes in embarrassment. "I'm so sorry" I said again. She looked down at her phone " well I guess I am going to go." She said and started to get up " uh you don't have to go" I said trying to not end our time together. " well I have to go get a shopping list from my mom and then I have to go shopping with my brother for some summer clothes, then I have to go to the mall and buy some stuff" she said. " would it be cool if Lilly and I came" I asked
" uh ya sure" she said " as long as you drive cause I don't have my car" she said I looked at her confused " I drove your truck home cause you were too drunk to drive" she said " ooh" I said " wait did you unload smokey as well" I asked. " I did" she said and nodded her head " damn your great" I said and smacked her on the butt. She gasped and blushed. I loved how easily I could make her blush. " alright let me go get dressed and then I will be down in a sec" I said and ran upstairs

I got Lilly dressed and we headed downstairs We all got in the truck and we drove to Katie's house. She was going to get her brother get the grocery list and get dressed
We pulled into the driveway and Katie got out and me and Lilly stayed in the car " what are y'all doing" she asked " come on your coming in" she said and opened the drivers door pulling on my hand. We got out of the car and walked in through the back door " hey mama" Katie said and ran upstairs " hey Katie... your not Katie" she said looking at me standing in her kitchen. I put Lilly down and shook her moms hand " hi my names Luke" I said She nodded her head " I know" she said" Your the man that takes care of the cows, and apparently all my kids love you" "Oh thank you" I said and tipped my hat down to her. " and whatever you did to talk to my oldest boy, well it worked, thank you so much." She said " yes ma'am Im glad it helped" I said " you know your such a big help here on the farm, could I get you to do more things here, I'll pay" " uh sure but you really don't need to pay ma'am" I said She smiled " your funny of course I'll pay" she said " jimmy. Luke is here" she yelled up the steps He came downstairs " hey Luke" he said and the the guy handshake I could hear Katie coming down the steps She was all dressed but her hair was still wet from the shower

" hey mom, we taking jimmy shopping" she told her " we" her mom asked " oh ya Luke and Lilly are coming shopping with me" she said " ooh ok yeah sure you can bring him" she said " alright I will be right back down" Katie said to me as she ran back up the steps. " you can go sit on the couch or whatever I will be back down in a sec"
Katie's POV
My mom came into my room " wow honey he's a catch " she said " wait Luke" I asked stunned " oh yes, you two make the cutest couple" he said " uh wait mom we aren't a couple" I said " oh" she said She almost sounded disappointed I was currently applying some makeup, I put some mascara on and walked downstairs and Luke whistled I blushed- this man was able to make me blush so much. " alright are you ready to go" I asked He nodded his his head and we walked out the door " bye mom" I yelled in and I picked up Lily and put her in the car seat " alright jimmy you will sit in the back with Lily" I said " ok" he said and climbed into the lifted truck I buckled up and Luke started up the truck " ok where first " he asked "Well "I said and it my lip cause I was thinking I could see Luke look at me then he moved in his seat uncomfortably
