Chapter 5

Rapunzel's POV

Jack's lips were so soft. They were gentle. I loved them and when Jack and I broke away from the kiss, I was upset.

"How was that?" He asked.

"It was great. I whispered softly.

Then I woke up.

The bedroom was dark. There were no sounds. I looked around. There was no sign of the boy Hiccup and the girl Merida. I sighed.

So it was all a dream.

Jack and I hadn't really kissed?

"Hello?" I whispered.

I heard a rustle and a moan.

"Hello?" I whisper.

"What is it Punzie?" I hear someone whisper.

"Is that you Jack?"

"Yeah."

"Oh. Okay just checking."

"Punzie.." Jack says standing and walking over to my bed. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I just had a dream that's all." I whispered.

"What was it about?" Jack asked.

"Uhhh." I say. Crap what should I say? What should I say.

"I could ask Sandy when he gets back." Jack says.

"No! It was about living underwater." I say.

"Oh. Sounds neat." Jack says.

I sigh in relief.

"I saw two people I'ver never seen before in my dream. There names were Hiccup and Merida." I say.

"What did they look like?" Jack asked.

"Well Hiccup, had green eyes and brown hair that swooped lightly over his face. And Merida had long curly red hair and super blue eyes." I say.

"How blue?" Jack asked.

"As blue as yours."

"Was Hiccup a boy?"

"Yes."

"Was Merida a girl?"

"Yes. Why are you asking so many questions?" I ask.

Jack hesitated.

"Well?"

"I think you had a dream about the two other guardians." Jack says.

"What makes you think that?" I ask.

"Could they see me? In the dream?" Jack asks.

"Uh yeah."

"Then that's them. North said they would be able to see me." Jack says.

"Why did I dream about them?" I thought to myself. Just as I was about to ask, the door opened and the light turned on. I blinked at the brightness.

Then my jaw dropped.

It was North and he had Hiccup and Merida.

All I could remember was dozing off on Hiccup's shoulder then waking up in a large room with a domed ceiling. There was a large globe in the center.

"Where am I?" I had asked.

"You in the North Pole." North had said.

"Where is Hiccup?" I had asked.

"Right here." Hiccup had said coming out from behind North.

Next thing I know, we're dragged into a room with a brown haired girl and a white haired boy.

"Jack, Rapunzel. This is Hiccup and Merda." North says.

"Merida." I correct him.

"Right. Sorry. Merda, Hiccup, this is Rapunzel and Jack." North says.

I didn't even bother to correct him.

"Now get to know each other." North said then he closed the door behind him.

"Hi." Hiccup said, waving awkwardly.

"I'm Rapunzel." The brown haired girl said.

"But I call her Punzie." The white haired boy said.

"Yeah. And that's Jack." Rapunzel said.

Jack nodded.

"Well.." Hiccup said messing with his hair nervously. "This is awkward."

"Yeah." Jack said in agreement.

"I'm Merida." I said.

"Are you Scottish?" Punzie asked.

"Yeah I am." I say. "Are you American?" I add sarcastically.

"Haha. Very funny." Rapunzel says.

Jack and Hiccup chuckle.

I even chuckle a little myself.

It's strange. We've only been in here for 5 minutes and I'm already starting to befriend these guys. It's like I'd known these guys for ages.

"Alright, is it just me or are we getting along?" Rapunzel asked.

"Yeah. It's kinda weird since we've been in here for all of 6 minutes. I mean obviously you and Jack have gotten more time to know each other.

And me and Merida have obviously gotten to know each other." Hiccup says.

"Yeah I can see that." Jack says.

Just then the door bursts open and North is standing there.

"We need your help" he says.

And without question we all run out and follow North into the globe room.

That's when we see him.

There is a man that is black standing on top of the globe laughing.

"Pitch Black." Jack mutters angrily.

He chuckled. "Ah Jack, you remember me." Pitch says.

"Yeah! I remember."

"And you think just because you got three new guardians, that you can defeat me?" Pitch says.

He chuckles.

"I'm stronger Jack. Stronger than when I beat you the first time." Pitch says

"I can still beat you." Jack growls.

"The thing is Jack. You can't because I know your greatest fears. And I can bring them to life. I know Hiccups fears.."

"How did you.." Hiccup begins to ask.

"I know Rapunzel's." Pitch says.

"And I know Merida's." Pitch says.

A chill runs down my spine. No! He can't know my fears. I've never told anyone my fears. My hands shake as I draw my bow and arrow.

"We can beat you!" I shout. But I'm not so sure.

"Oh. There's no need for that. I will kill you in every single way I know you fear. But before I kill you. I'll kill Hiccup first. And You will watch, while he bleeds and cries out. When he dies, then you'll die laying next to his dead corpse. And when you scream, I'll split your skull." Pitch says.

And with that. He disappears.
