Jack's POV

Hiccup's words echoed in my brain.

"We're sneaking out."

Why hadn't I thought of that! I mean I'm obviously trained enough that I could face Pitch with Hiccup, Merida and Punzie or without them.

But these guys weren't trained. I mean, to the extent of my knowledge, Punzie and Hiccup had never lifted a weapon.

"Where are we going to go?" Merida asks.

Hiccup gets that mischievous grin. "We are going to go somewhere where Pitch, and the other guardians, can't find us." Hiccup replied.

I smirk.

"You know, I like how smart you are Hiccup." I say.

Hiccup grins triumphantly. "Thank you Jack! It's about time someone noticed something about me besides my skinny outside!"

Merida laughs and Punzie giggles. Even I crack a smile.

"Oh!!! And while we are there, we'll be able to train to fight Pitch!" Hiccup states.

"When do we leave?" Punzie asks enthusiastically.

Hiccup gestures for us to come closer.

We all move in together in a circle. Hiccup sits to my left, Punzie to my right and Merida across.

"Now." Hiccup whispers.

Merida breaks out into a huge grin.

"How will we get there?" Punzie asks.

"We'll ride Toothless." Hiccup says.

"I can take Punzie and we'll take the wind." I offer.

"It's settled." Merida says.

We all nod in agreement.

"Okay gather everything you need, but not to much stuff." I say.

"I've got everything I need." Hiccup says.

"I've got my bow and arrows." Merida adds.

"And I've got my frying pan and dagger." Punzie says.

"Hiccup, you got a weapon?" I ask as I look at his empty hands.

"I've got Toothless." Hiccup states.

"Good point." I say pointing at him.

"Alright! Let's go!" Hiccup says.

We shush him.

"Oops sorry." Hiccup whispers.

We all get up and, quietly, make our way to the door.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I lead the way as we move silently outside and towards the "stable" where Toothless stays.
When North says "stable", he really means a cave. A dark cave.
As we approach the cave, I glimpse a large, dark shape, which must be Toothless, laying in a ball on the cave floor.
Hiccup gestures for us to stop.
We all come to a sikent halt.
"Toothless doesn't like strangers so I suggest that Punzie and Jack stay back." Hiccup whispers.
"Why just Punzie and me?" I whisper back.
"Cause Toothless has met me before." Merida whispers.
I sigh. "Fine, Punzie and I will back off." I whisper in reply.
Punzie and I move back and stand by the tree a couple of feet away from Hiccup and Merida.
