VERY ARUPT

Three years have passed since your training. You were fully trained, balance mastered, defense and attacks all memorized. You could swim now, twice as fast too. You were fully trained. Shade padded over to you.

"Rachel, please come back safe. Please, you might get yourself into battle." You signed. "I'll be just fine, Shade. You've started training too, and you'll have to do the same thing." He nodded. "Please just be safe."
You heard Charred's claws scrape the marble floor slightly as he approached. "Are you ready?" He asked.
"I'm ready."
"Okay. It's time to go." Bring your knife with you. The one I found in your pocket back in the forest."
"Okay. I'll go look for it." You said, running off to your room. You found it on your bed. You grabbed it and ran out the door, excited. You were going to meet the goddess of the forest. Charred had explained how you went to meet this creature, and it would accept you as a creature fit to survive in this world. They would test you, although you didn't know exactly how, but you were excited.

You hopped onto Charred's back, keeping your legs off his wings. He spread them, ragged skin flapping into the air. He swooped down, little critters fleeing in different directions. You saw another dragon pass, smiling at Charred. It had whiskers, kind of like a cat. It also had fur, all over it's body, nearly hidden spikes extended from it's back. You looked ahead again.

The huge forest grew thicker, and thicker, and thicker until there was suddenly a clearing. "We're here." Charred gritted his teeth as he dived down, landing softly on the grass below. You looked around. The clearing was larger than you thought it would be. A gnarled willow was in the center. Atop a swirl of branches sat a wolf. It had glowing white fur, and crystal blue eyes. Flame-like light rose from its paws, outlining the leaves and branches in white.

"Hello, young one." The wolf spoke with a calm accent. "You come to be full trained, I expect." Her eyes flicked from you to Charred, and back to you. "This dragon train you?" She asked. Charred gave you a look, which told you not to speak. You only nodded.
"Well, then you have come for test. Follow me." She leaped down from the tree and began you walk away, and you rushed to catch up to her. Charred started to follow, but she turned around and lashed her tail once. "You stay, dragon." Charred stepped back, bowing his head. "I expected more of you, Charred Ashes." He flinched, but said nothing and backed up. She walked away from the clearing, into the dense forest ahead.

"You be young human." She stated. "What be your age?" She asked.
"I... I don't remember."
"That be fine. Have you received a proper name yet?"
"I don't think so."

You were confused by what she meant on 'proper name' but didn't ask any more questions. The forest started to grow so thick you tripped over logs or branches. It was so dark the only thing to guide you was the wolf. Then abrupt light washed over you. The white she-wolf looked at you and your weapons, then back to the light. "It is time."
