I trod through the forest, muttering as I do so. Octavia turned to me in confusion, the edges of her eyebrows crinkled and her lips neither frowning or smiling. I shook my head, wondering how we got along as I do so. Complete opposites. She and Andre shared similar traits, which was the exact reason I thought they'd make the perfect couple. I shoved my hands behind my back, walked further into the forest and gazed at the scenery.
"Awesome view, 'ey?" Octavia looked at me but didn't respond. Feeling awkward, I chose not to talk any more. I hadn't seen any creatures yet and it was quite daunting as that was my favourite part of a hike through here. Were they hiding? I didn't think I was that scary. Albeit, I couldn't say the same for Octavia.
"Can you hear that?" I jumped at the sound of her voice, surprised she had spoken at all. I furrowed my eyebrows and focused on the noises surrounding me. Listening closer, I heard an instrument. My eyes widened, I haven't heard one of those in ages! Running in that specific direction I dragged Octavia along with me. She struggled at my grip before getting to the same speed as myself, no longer tripping over stones. We halted at a random tree, Octavia dug her nails into my skin and I let go, scowling at her as I do so. I clutched my hand and moved toward the figure sitting behind the tree. I swung my head around it and gaped when finding a deer. It was playing the piano! I screamed as it began to sing. The sounds stopped as its eyes found my own. The animal let out a girlish shriek and dropped the piano before hopping off into the distance. I gasped, before falling to the ground and laughing, Octavia following.
"I'm so telling Andre!" I giggled, best moment of my life. Never had I come across something such as this epic moment, now I was wondering why I hadn't done this ages ago. "We should go on walks like this way more often."
She nodded after recovering from the laughing episode and gestured for me to help her up. I complied and looked around in hopes of discovering the deer again. To my misfortune, I don't. Octavia picked up the piano in confusion, "Why does the deer have a guitar? Where did it even get one?"
Oh, wrong instrument. I grimaced and shrugged, pointing off to where it had gone, "Go get it and ask, I'm not--"
"The question was rhetorical," she narrowed her eyes. I rolled my eyes, details, details.

"Andre! Andre!" he turned around as I burst through his cottage doors. "There was a fucking deer--"
"There was a deer playing guitar and it even sung!" Octavia interrupted me, I looked at her, glaring. That bitch. She smiled at me, poking her tongue out as I sighed in irritation. Andre seemed confused, but was into the situation enough to chuckle. I wish I told him first. I should've left the damn girl behind. This sucks. I groaned and walked back out the doors, I went all this way for nothing. Octavia followed through her laughter, "Would it feel better if I apologised?"
"No," I sulked, hiding a grin. Already over it I strolled back on the path toward the forest. "I'm going home, have fun with Andre."
Walking back in the direction I came, I made sure to listen, smell and look for anything unusual. That way, I would be able to take credit and say I found it. Smiling to myself, I thought back to Octavia. So peculiar.
A rustle of the leaves nearby startled me, I began to panic as the silence continued a few minutes later. I stopped, hearing thumps becoming closer. I freaked out immediately and sprinted as far as I could. You'd think I'd be more courageous being the Queen of fire, yet I wasn't. All the way to my castle, I found myself hearing strange, unsettling noises nearby.

I inhaled and exhaled at rapid speed, out of breath from the amount of times I had run. Putting my hands on my knees, I leant forward and tried calming down. Feeling safer at my castle, I looked up and gasped when seeing a face peering down at me. I stood straighter and stared at Cloud in confusion, what was he doing here? He seemed furious.
"I thought we were going to meet at 9."

(A/N: Sorry for taking so long to update, nothing too eventful this chapter, but I can guarantee it for the next one.)
