It was dark. That was all I could comprehend as I strode through my castle. One of the upsides of having water as an element was that I could control ice too, thus it was easier to move on. I had an amazing memory, so it served well when trying to remember what things were. For example; ice-skates, they could be useful. Fortunately, last night it had rained, the perfect day to go for an 'adventure'.

Humming to myself, I stroll at a leisurely pace toward my throne room, dodging the pillars of ice as I do so. My kingdom; all the ocean delivers as its attic, and the ice as the castle walls and rooms. I didn't understand why there was so much, as the only people living here was me, myself and I.

"My dragon," I murmured, staring at the water-like mirror. Only, it didn't show my reflection, instead a creature of the sea. A ginormous beast with the shape and length of a snake, four legs at opposite ends. Her face was of a lizard's, yet more dinosaur, more prehistoric.  She was blue, able to walk on land I suppose, but slow. With a belly the colour of the ocean, she was dangerous when crossed. A lot like myself. My dragon was able to morph from ice, to water. Six spikes sat at the top of her head in a semicircle. In the space between them, contained darker water, more visible. Much like the shield around my body, thus my clothes don't get soaked.

"You're going out into the big world," I smiled fondly at her. "You're going to have to help me with a situation."

That sounded a bit crazy, I thought to myself, wincing. Grabbing a cloak, I pulled the hood over my head and leant over the arch that stood on the opposite side of my bedroom. Outstretching my arms in a 'T' posture, I dove off into the ocean and grabbed onto my dragon. My leviathan; she swam at undeniable speeds, her tail swishing with almighty agility.

"Thanks," I said, grinning as I step onto the ground. Stretching my arms and legs, I think back over what had happened. That poor deer . . . It was obvious that it was that one from before, the one that could sing and play guitar. Taking the path I always use, I stared around at the scenery. Searching for something, anything suspicious. Spotting a few puddles along the way, I sighed in relief. I was hoping this was the case or I might have been in a bit of trouble if coming across the Darkness King. After a small while, I came across a river. Searching my reflection, I noticed how tired my eyes looked, they were a strange colour compared to others. Turquoise. Black straight hair accompanied this feature. Yet, otherwise than the mole on my cheek, my face seemed unblemished.

Turning away from the river, walking across it my feet were just on the tip of the water. Scooping up a cup of it, I held it in my hands, delicate. Throwing it in front of me, I watched as it created the structure of two gloves. Allowing the water to slide across my fingers and over my palm. They would come in handy later on if necessary.

As my stroll increases to a much longer time frame, I begin to become bored. Where was it? Perhaps my power was scaring it off. I didn't even know what it was, Cloud, Nya, Andre and I needed another meeting. Soon.

A howl interrupted my thoughts, it was close. Sprinting off in the direction it came I found a wolf. It was large, smokey, but small red flames arose from its hind legs. Its face, dark and focused. It opened its mouth, its teeth shadow-like but still there.

Shoving both arms in a cross like posture I released the water gloves from my hold. A puddle formed a metre in front of me. The wolf growled, stalking towards me. I rose my hands up, staring at the water on the ground and widening it in length and width. Not long after, a face revealed, the face of my leviathan. Although the puddle be only a finger nail deep, she emerged from the shallow pool of liquid like a serpent. She curled around me in a defensive stance, snarling in the mean time. The wolf repeated the action, its hackles raised and ears flitted back.

Looking over at my dragon, I pointed at the other beast, a silent order. As if she understood my exact words, the leviathan nodded and launched at the canine. Teeth bared, they attacked each other. The wolf leapt onto her neck, wrenching at the ice-like skin. She spun, twirling until the wolf was choking. She was like a python, staring down at her pray, using her talons to lock the creature in place. I casted my eyes downward, not allowing myself to view the scene. The whimper was the last sound I heard from the wolf before I looked back over. My dragon released it, before crawling back over to the puddle of water and  slipping in.

I stalked over to the beast, gazing over it as the darkness consuming its body began to fade. The wolf looked ordinary now. It was one of Nya's creatures from her kingdom, I could tell from how it was alight with flame. Although it had passed, its flame still flickered, sad in a way. The wolf was bestowed upon a horrible fate.

If the Darkness King would go to such measures to bring in innocent creatures to the battle, what else would he do?
