I ran my hand along her collarbone, smiling as she nudged my elbow with her snout. Disturbed, my dragon had been pacing back and forth whilst she snarled to herself. It was ten minutes ago, but it was stuck in my mind and I needed to do something about it.

"Sydra," I was the only one that named their dragon. I found it was vital when calling for them, "Why don't we go and check it out?"

She bristled, and although scared from the previous situation, I had to do this. My dragon lowered her body to half my height, hopping on I gazed around the room for a sign. Nothing. Spotting the painting, I frowned, before gripping Sydra's spikes and forcing her to move. She does as commanded and began sprinting, knocking doors out of the way as we reached the exit.

Resting my face against her back, I watched as the scenery flew past. Her short breaths were all I could hear as the speed increased. Shrieking, I clutched harder onto her when she switches direction, she was chasing something. I was sure of it. I lifted my head and squinted, the wind rushing past my face as I attempted to spot the creature. Sydra slowed, coming across a meadow. Layered with grass and a large tree, it reminded of somewhere I used to visit back when I was fifteen, at home.

"Why stop here?"

I bit my lip, did the creature lead us here? I stared at my dragon, trying to discover what she was trying to tell me through her expression. All of a sudden she started to hiss, stalking towards me. I turned around and identified a black wolf, smoke arose from its body as it stared at me. It growled, before spinning and sprinting away. Hydra at my side, I jumped on and gestured her to run after it. I detected an almost smile, her upper lip pulled up. Yet, to others, it would seem she was furious.

We had been chasing the wolf the entire day and by now, both my dragon and I were hungry. Gesturing her over, I held my hand out and forced more heat from the rest of my body to that place in particular. Moving her face closer, she opened her mouth and breathed in. Aura-like flames arose from my fingers and transported into my dragon. We shared energy. My dragon was not warm blooded, thus needed my heat in order to survive. Due to my element, it wasn't too hard. It also explained why my castle and throne was on fire.

Getting up and dusting my jeans of the imaginary dust, I motioned Sydra to lead the way. "We'll go to Andre's, I've had enough of this, maybe he knows something about it."

Knocking on the doors I waited for him to allow me in. Tapping my foot in a rhythmic beat I scowled, he was taking longer than usual. Gazing around, I noticed his dragon missing. Groaning, I began walking away. He probably left for my castle, or Octavia's, I was sure they had a decent chat when I deserted them.

"Wait! I'm coming!" I heard a shout from inside and smirked, sleeping in now are we? I wondered if Octavia was with him, but judging from the disappointment on his face when he came outside, she wasn't. "What's up?"

"You were asleep the entire afternoon?" I asked, incredulous. Record-breaker. "And you claim to be busy."

He didn't respond. The silence continued before I remembered what I came to talk about.

"Oh!" I said, startling him."There is a wolf, Andre. Do you happen to have any in your forest that have smoke coming out of their body?"

"Not that I know of," he said, creating an undeniable worry deep inside me I couldn't rid myself of. I frowned, this could the Darkness King's doing. Should I tell him of what happened? Would he believe me? It shouldn't be too hard to understand seeing as this is a different dimension. Although, Cloud hadn't understood, what makes Andre any different? He has his moments, but I suppose as a friend he should trust what I'm saying.

"It chased me the other day," I was quiet, unsure of whether he heard me or not. "My dragon and I chased it today, but we couldn't catch it. It was clever, but brave too, I suppose."

"Dragon, dragon, dragon, speaking of, have you seen mine?" I glared at him, no wonder I was hesitant to tell him my story. He didn't care. Perhaps I was thinking far too into it. "Have you?"

"No, I haven't, sorry." I said, casting my eyes away from his own. Deciding to deal with whatever I was up against on my own, I began to walk away. "Um, anyway, if you still can't find your dragon by tomorrow, give me a heads up and I'll help you. Bye."

Leaving in a rush I gritted my teeth, I would just have to find that wolf myself. Spotting my own dragon, I called for her. When she didn't arrive, I decided to search for her around the cottage. Not long after, I discovered her curled up in a ball at a nearby tree. Sighing in exhaustion, I chose to allow her rest and sat by her.

"It's just you and me against this strange world at the moment, Sydra."
