I feeling heart flutter. I stare into dippers brown eyes and he looks back into mine. We finish eating and then I kiss him "bye, see you tomorrow" I say before packing all the picnic stuff up and walking home. Once I arrive back at my flat I drop everything in the door and re lock it. I walk to the mall and enter a jewellery shop. Dipper offer wore small bracelet like things so he should like this. I pull out a smallnpeice of paper and place it on the counter "do you make custom peices and how much are they?" I ask. The lady picks up the crinkled paper and looks it over. "We do, this one would cost around about one hundred dollars." She says handing the paper back.
"Ok thank you ma'am, I'll probably be back tomorrow" I say walking away. My heart sinks. One hundred. That is a lot to make over night.
I walk to the mystery shack and peak through the door to make sure dipper is not in the gift shop. Once I determine it is clear I open the door and walk up to Wendy
"Uh Wendy right?" I ask she looks up and nods
"Your that guy wig the asthma right?" She asks I nod.
"Yeah, look I know I don't really know you well but I need your help, I need to earn a hundred dollars before tomorrow an I don't know where to start" I bluntly say. She sits up
"One hundred before tomorrow? Bro your not in some kind I gang trouble are you?" She asks. I shake my head.
"What no. I want to buy something special for dipper as a thank you gift for everything he's done to help me but it costs around one hundred dollars" I explain. She nods
"Gotcha" she moves aside
"Sit, you can help me run the register today and I'll let you have the hundred, if it's for dipper it's a good cause" she smiles. I sit a phantom smile creeping on to my face. When ever diper or the stans came in I would hide. At first Wendy was confused but I explained that I wanted to surprise dipper with it  and that Stanley and Stanford didn't exactly see eye to eye with him she understood. I now sat against the cabinet behind the cheek out as Stanley told Wendy she could go home now. I glance up and she nods.
"Cool sounds good, oh hey mister pines do you think I could get my pay cheek today rather then on Friday, I need to pay of some bills an stuff" she asks I hear a gruff whatever then a slog rustling followed by a thump. Wendy picks something up off the counter.
"Thank you sir" she smiles. Footsteps fade into thw distance until finally Wendy hands me a hundred dollar note and helps me up.
"Its was nice meeting you and working with you maybe you can come by and help out again sometime when your not avoiding dipper and his uncle's." She says. I think about it.
"That actually sounds like a nice idea, I'll think about it" I say. Obi get a job hear dipper won't have to pay my rent anymore. I walk out the shop and wave. She seemed nice by no where near as good as dipper.
The next morning I walk back into the jewellers
"How long will it take to make?" I ask hand in over the paper and money. She looks it over thoughtfully
"Come back in three hours in its not done by then then just come back tomorrow. " she says i nod as she walks off. I leave the mall and walk home. After waiting three hours I go back. With a smile the jeweler hands me a bag with a velvet red box.
"She's a very lucky person whoever this is for" she says I smile and shake my head
"Thanks but it's not for a girl" I say grabbing the bag.
"Oh it's not? Sorry my mistake I just assumed it was for your girlfriend" she says. I chuckle and shake my head slightly
"No but I hope that he likes it" I says emphasising the word he. She makes a face of embarrassment and awkwardly smiles. "Oh, have a nice day and good luck " she says. I nod and walk away. I pull the box out of the bag and open it. I inspect the jewelry and smile.
