Ford eventually nods.
"Yeah it's round hear somewhere, why?" He says looking around for the key.
"I have cancer" i state bluntly " and if I return the key to zalthar he has offered to heal it so for dippers sake I need that key" I say now also looking throughout the room for the key. Ford freezes in spot and turns to me.
"Cancer, you have cancer" he mutters. I nod
" yes it started while I was trapped in the dream scape i presumed it was a side affect from the gun you used to send me back and assumed it would heal eventually since i was a demon and that doesn't usually phase demons much, i didnt really fully realize it hadn't gone away untill after I got the fever yesterday that it hadn't" I explain still shuffling papers and books around to find the key.
"And you just, ignored it until a demon offered to heal you" Ford asks skeptically.
"What no, I ignored it until dipper forced me to go to the hospital this morning I was going to keep it quite as long as I could then dipper almost made a deal and zalthar offered to heal me if I got this key which he needs to save the dream scape from baisicly freezing in time or something and I don't bloody know Stanford I'm only a pitiful human now I don't know how any of this stuff functions anymore" I say opening draws and rustling through them. By now dipper had stopped gawking at me and had begun helping.
"So...you were going to wait to die with out telling me, and what you didn't think that I would be phased by the fact that one day I would have woken up and you would be dead!" He grumbles pulling a draw out to look and accidentally throwing it to the ground. I stare at dipper as he looks at the contents of the draw scattered around him. Broken vials of acids or something sit by his feet.
"Sorry great uncle ford" he mutters picking the draw up and putting it back it to place. He starts to put the papers back in when some thing falls out of them the sound of metal on concreat rings through the room as the key bounces off the Ground.
"DIPPER you found it" I beam running forward and picking it up. Dipper shrugs looking round for a broom. He finds one and sweeps the glass onto an old news paper. I put the key in my pocket and pull dipper into a hug.
"I'm sorry dipper, I didn't know what to say, I couldn't just walk up to you like hey pine tree I love you but I have cancer and might might die" I say as I comb a hand through his hair. He nods in understanding and looks behind me.
"Are you the minion zalthar mentioned?" He asks. I turn pulling the key out as I do so. As I look up to the so called minion I hold the key out. As my eyes land on the boy Sent to collect the key for zalthar they widen. I drop the key and a tremor goes through my whole body.
The boy seemed only a few years younger then me, fifteen or sixteen maybe. His eyes were blue and one was covered by an eyepatch Much like mine had been. His hair was a bright blue and his clothing matched it looks almost identical to how mine had when I first took a human form as a demon but blue. I feel my eyes water as I shakily take a step towards the boy. Step by step I get closer until I start full on running at him I pull him into a hug tears streaming down my face and onto his top.
"I'm so sorry will please forgive me" I weep. Both dipper and Ford look extremely confused as I sob on the shoulder of the boy. I look into his eyes and chuckle.
"I-I I ... I thought you were dead, how did this happen?" I ask. The boy looks up also confused.
"What? Do I know you sir?" He asks shaking my arms off of him. I feel my heart shatter.
"W-will it's me, it's your brother" I stutter. His eye widens.
"Bill! How are you still alive it's been over like a hundered years!" He says dippers face pales and he steps forward.
"T-this is your brother? You told me you saw him die!" He says wide eyes. I nod
"I-I did I watched you die will you drowned in the river how are you.... He did this!" I growl. I turn and walk over to where the key now lay. I pick it up and grab dipper and will by the wrist. Stomping up the stairs I clench my jaw.
"See you later Stanford thank you for the key" I call out before dragging dipper and will out of the basement level through the vending machine. I nod slightly at Stanley and the red head dipper fancied back when he was twelve.
"Stan, red" I grumble in acknowledgment be for stomping ou the gift shop door. The two look utterly confused but I ignor them once on The front lawn to the shack I glare at the sky and shout.
"COME OUT YOU STUPID NO GOOD DEMON!" a bright flash of light comes from Behind us and I turn to the demon who now stood against the trunk of a tree just on the edge of the forest.
"Yes bill I believe I did Send one of the minions to collect the key why have you called me?" He asks slightly annoyed.
"Change of plan, you heal me and give my brother back you son of a witch!" I growl harshly. He glances between me and will.
"Ah yes of course William was your brother wasn't he, oh yes I do remember that now. I must say watching you watch him die now that was priceless" the demon says. Tauntingly. I lung at him only to have dipper hold me back.
"He is rather disappointing actually, no where near as powerful as you were bill, the funny thing is you have actually meet him in demon form several times but being the self absorbed demon I use to enjoy the company of you didn't even notice did you" he continues. My face pales. All those times I had been served as a powerful demon it had been my brother. I turn to will then back to zalthar.
"I give you the key you heal me and give me my brother deal or not!" I hiss. He roles his eyes and scoffs.
"Fine deal!" He says holding his hand out for the key.
"Shak on it, then you get the key" I say. He shakes my hand and seals the deal. I hand him the key and he clicks his fingers
"There you cancer is gone and your brother is now a free demon who can freely move between all dimensions and the dream scape. Happy" zalthar scoffs. I nod not saying another word I walk away.
