It's not like that

Bill and I walk out to my car hands intertwined and swinging back and fourth between us. As I unlock the car and reach forward to open the driver side door Mabel runs out the mystery shack door.
"Please dipper! You can't leave me alone" she calls out. I turn to her and tilt my head.
"Mabel I'm not leaving you alone. I'm still going to be in gravity falls it's not like I'm going to leave" I say confused "I'm just going to move in with bill" I say slowly. I turn to Bill as I realize what she means.
"And I'll be alone! This is just like back when we first came hear! Your leaving me alone for your own selfish reasons" she crys I let go of  the Handle and pull her into a hug.
"Mabel it's not like that, I'm not going to ever leave you alone it's just that after what great uncle Ford did...I just can't stay in the shack with them. Once I learn to forgive him I'll come back, but for now I'll stay with bill and I'll come and visit every day ok" I whisper as she sobs into my shoulder. She nods stiffly.
"Pinky promise" she sniffs holding a hand up. I smile and loop my pinky around hers
"Pinky promise" I say softly. She wipes her eyes.
"Ok, I'll see you both tomorrow and if you break your promise bro bro I'll hunt you down and tickle you to death" she says in a jokeing tone. I smile and lightly punch her shoulder.
"Hey if all else fails you can move in with us. I'm sure bill won't mind the company" I say turning to bill as he smiled back at us arms crosed on the roof I the car and door open ready for him to get in.
"The place would definitely be a lot livelier with you round shooting star" he winks ducking down and getting in the car rest in his feet up on the dash. I raise an eyebrow at him pursing my lips.
"Boy you better move your feet before I slap them down" I say sass and hummer in my tone. Mabel giggles and hugs me again.
"See you tomorrow bro bro, Bill I'd move your feet before dipping sauce gets In" she says a huge grin replacing and fragments of sadness she might have had before. Bill smiles and puts his feet down
"See ya round Mabel, I promise to share dipper with you" bill chuckles. I sigh and get in the drivers seat.
"You two are so annoying sometimes. But I love you" I sigh. Pulling the door shut and turning the key in the ignition I wave goodbye to Mabel. Smiling as I drive away from the shack. Only when the lights from it were no longer on sight did my smile falter.
"Things are gonna be a lot different now, arn't they" I says glancing at Bill out the coroner of my eye. He look to me a small cough escaping his lips and nods. "It'll take some getting use to dipper, and in all honesty I would understand it if yo...." Bill says cutting his sentence short as he erupts into a coughing fit. He grabs onto my arm with one hand and his chest wig the other as his breathi becomes difficult. I immediately pull to the side of the road and open the dash board compartment. Digging around I pull out a spare inhaler and Hand it to him. He uses it an his breathing returns to normal.
"Looks like thats the second time tonight you saved my life pinetree" he says out of breath as he leans back it his seat. "You leave me breathless"he grins. I laugh and pull back onto the road.
"You are so adorable sometimes. I love you" I says softly. Bill perks up.
"Realy?" He asks I look over to him a grin across my face
"Dude I was a wreak for the last few days. I would have sold my soul to get you back i-I thought Ford had killed you" I say my smile dropping as the heartbreaking feeling flash back into mind. Bill places a hand on my arm as I focus back on the road.
"I thought you were gone forever, an that I would never be able to tell you that I love you" I say quietly as I pull into the apartments driveway. Bill puts a hand under my chin pulling my head to face him. His eye's soften and he leans in closing the space between us slowly as if he was unsure weather what he was doingwas right. Farley so on his nose was rest in on mine and his breath tickled against my lips. I close my eyes and move ever so slightly to close the gap. His lips warm against mine and sending shivers down my spine. I reach a Hand up to rest against his face. Pulling back I look deep into his eyes.
"I love you to dipper" he says softly. I smile an open my door. Skipin around the car I open his door for him
"Hear you are princess" I laugh bowing down an offering a hand. Bill grabs my Hand and roles his eyes.
"What does that make you? My knight in shining armour?" He smiles. I shrug and count my fingers with a look of immense thought on my face.
"Well that is a about five times I've saved your life now so I guess so" I chuckle suddenly getting a mischievous thought. I sweep Bill into a bridal style carry.
"And no princess should have to walk inside either" I laugh not caring about the strange looks the neighbor was giving us. I kick the car door shut and skip to the door with Bill in my arms. A deep blush dusting his cheeks as he glances at the neighbors. I smirk and raise an eyebrow.
"Who cares what they think Bill, I love you and thats all that matters" i whisper placing his feet down but keepin my arm around his waist. I unlock the door and drag him in shutting it behind us. Bill looks around at the mess I had made while in my state of grief. I rub the back of my neck.
"I'll clean it tomorrow" I shrug kissing him lightly on the cheek. He laughs
"Wow was it really that bad? You think I'm dead so you trash the only home I've ever had" he jokes clutching his arms around my waist. "I'm flattered dip dot you really did miss me didn't you" he smiles. I grin sheepishly and pull him to the couch where we snuggle together and watch tv for the rest of the afternoon.
