I stare at him tears burning my eyes as they drop to my cheeks and down my face.
"Y-you can't be suggesting that we give up" I whisper. He holds my hands and sighs.
"Dipped I love you I really do but is there any point in trying? I've only caused trouble for you and your family" he says. I look at him in shock. Pulling my hands away I wipe my eyes only for more tears to replace them.
"W-why wou*hic*ld  you say that!" I whimper he holds a hand up but I turn and run. I run out the hospital and down the street to the forest. I keep running until I reach the clearing that bill first was summoned in. Back when Gideon had made the deal to get the deed to the mystery shack.
I fall to my knees and sob into my hands at the thought of losing bill again.
"Y-you can't give up, I still need you" I whisper to the forest knowing he wouldn't hear me. A light flashes behind me and I scamper to face it.
"Hey there kid, I'm back" the demon zalthar grins from the tree line examining his black nails.
"W-what do you want!" I ask rubbing my eyes and nose with a soft glare at him
"Just want to offer a deal, I'll heal your precious little pets cancer fully so it will never come back ever, and you get me something in return." He says pushing away from the tree he stood against.  I shake my head.
"Give me specific details or its a no"I huff crossing my arms.
"Ok fair enough. Your great uncle has something that belongs to me and I want it back, I'll send my minion to collect it once you have it in you possession and once it is returned to me I will heal bill, I want you to find this little trinket hear" he says hanging me a piece of paper with a sketch of a small key of sorts, it looked as though it wound up a clock or something. I glare back up at zalthar
"What is this for, if it's for something dangerous I'm not helping" I say. He shrugs and clicks his fingers together. A hologram like image of a clock tower appears,
"This hear is the clock that Controls the time of every demon in the mind scape. Because Stanford pines took it or should I say was given it for his portal all of the mind scape has begun to slow down and i fear it the clock stops then my home will be frozen in time" the demon says. I think for I bit,
"So I either help you fix your demon infested dream land and save bill or I let you all pretty much freeze which would save many people from making stupid deals but lose bill?" I ask. The demon nods. I take a deep breath and nod. "I'll agree if you promise not to trick me?" I say. The demon roles his eyes
"Fine what ever no tricks" he hold out his hand a light purple flame enveloping it. I reach forward to shake it as as rustling comes from my right. I turn to see bill emerging from the trees.
"DIPPER STOP" he shouts as he sees what's happening.  I smile at him sadly.
" I have to bill he can heal you, he can get rid of the cancer" I say bill rushes forward and tackles me away from the demon.
"I'm not worth it dipper I don't know what he asked for but it's not worth it" he whispers into my ear. Standing up he glares at zalthar.
"What did you want from him?" He asks I sit up brushing the dirt off my hoodie and pants.
"The key to the clock, it's slowing down bill you were a fool to give it to the human you've risked the lives of every demon in the mind scape!" He says harshly. Bill stares at him face blank.
"Wait the one I gave sixer? That's, that's not possible that was over thirty years ago why would it only now be affecting them!?" Bill says eyebrows furrowed knitting together in confusion.
"I-I'll go he it back but I'm not making any deals ok, just I'll get the key and that's it you leave" bill says helping me to stand as he directed his conversation to zalthar.
"No deal necacary then you get the key I heal the cancer" the demon says. Bill shakes his head.
"That would be a deal then would it not?" Bill says.
Zalthar shakes his head smirking
"Can I not do something out of kindness for my once favorite demon" he says, bill flinches and sighs
"Thats the thing though, I'm not a demon any more so why would you bother?" He says looking down.
"I'm just a pathetic human, I can't even cook a simple piece of toast with out burning it so why would you want to heal me?" He says. I bite my lip and cling my arms around his waist, snuggling my head into his chest I sigh.
"Because your a strong person, demon or no you are willing to sacrifice everything for the people you love and I admire that as a trait of yours" the demon shrugs.
"Hear I'll help you out" he says clicking his fingers. We are suddenly standing in Fords portal room, the portal dismantled completely and papers scattered around. The sudden appearanceof us causing him to jump in his seat.
"Dipper? Bill? What are you doing hear how did you... demon! Get away from my nephews" Ford shouts pulling an interdemensional gun up and aiming at zalthar.
"Oh relax they are fine I'm going now any way, I will send a minion of mine to collect it when you receive it bill" he says disappearing. Ford glances at us confused.
"You made a deal whit him?" He asks. I shake my head.
"Do you still have that key I gave you back when you started building the portal?" Bill asks. Ford makes a face of confusion while still trying to figure out what's going on.
