as I finished my talk with the family, being temporary leader, I sat down and started to meditate.

if leo can do it why can't I?

my fist clenched at the mention of his name, in hatred for the shredder, and of sadness. devastation. stress. anger........

I tried to connect to my chi, but my thoughts were to jumbled to concentrate.

what if he kills them before we get there

what if he leaves there body's as a symbol, as his warning that we are next

WHAT IF I CAN'T SAVE HER?!

I got up from this death lock of a meditation stance, and took off to do what I do when I'm stressed

I walked into the main room, storming over to where the punching dummy we had lay, chubby and immobile.

our dummie we had since birth hung in the air, dressed up as the shredder. we thought it would be a good motivator, and considering what's happening, it's hell of a good motivator.

I punched him in different places, totally oblivious to what was happening.

I delivered one big punch in his helmet covered face and the dummy fell of his rope, dropping loudly onto the floor.

I dropped to my knees and held my face in my palms, silently cursing the shredder for what he has turned me into. I felt a single tear slide down my cheek, wetting the palm of my hand.

"raph"? I heard a familiar voice call out.

I lifted my head out of my hands, facing the girl I loved, eyes bloodshot.

"raph, ohmygods are you ok"?! she called out, running to my side.

"no" I said simply.

"I'm just......afraid" I said ashamed.

"why raphie taphie tell me why" she said, putting her arm around my shoulders.

"cuz, my brothers are in danger, your in danger....."I said trailing off.

"raph-" she started, but I finished for her, pulling her into a sweet kiss.

she was slightly surprised, but she adjusted and returned the kiss sweetly. I pushed her against the wall, deepening the kiss.
