chapter 27

*Leo's pov the next morning*

I awoke to a dull light, but comforting surroundings of donnies lab.

was that dream real?

I turned my head and saw donnie sleeping blissfully in the chair right next to the examination bed.

I missed him

I began to rise out of the position I was in to see if Mr. Mortu did what he said he would do, but I was so excited to see Nicola again that I forgot I was injured.

"ow!" I cried out in surprise, waking up donnie suddenly.

"OH MY GOD LEO YOUR AWAKE" he cried out in joy, hugging me.

I smiled and attempted to hug him back, but my body was too soar.

"hey donnie where's Nicola?" I asked excitedly.

"ummm" he said, expression grim

"she's in the main room, the girls got home and when they found out she was....dead...they didn't take it well....so there in there sobbing over her body" he said sadly.

"can I see her"? I asked with a smile. donnie looked at me weird but helped me up, supporting most of my weight.

when I walked into the room I saw the girls all huddled around Nicola, sobbing. when they saw me they smiled weakly and gave me a hug.

"it's good to have you back leo" they said trying to be happy, but they just couldn't.

I limped over to Nicola, excited to see if this would work. I kneeled next to her, moving her Brown hair out of her pale face. I leaned in and gave her a kiss on the lips, and just like that her beautiful Brown eyes fluttered open, her now pink lips gasping for air.

I cried out in joy, the light that left my eyes returning. I picked her up and spun her around joy fully, crying tears of joy. she looked at me confused.

"wa-wasn't I dead just a moment ago"? she asked confused.

"I had a dream, explaining me how to revive you" I said, smiling ear to ear.

I swear to God I've never been so happy

she smiled at me, kissing me softly, me returning the kiss.

"we made it" she said happily

I looked across the room at the girls and donnie, who's jaws were dropped on the floor, eyes full of surprise. when they saw us staring, kellin took a step towards her just recently dead sister. she hesitantly poked her arm.

Nicola giggled and said

"it's really me"

just like that she ripped her from my arms and hugged her, tears glistening in her eyes.

"DON'T EVER DO THAT TO ME AGAIN"! she yelled.

nicola laughed, a noise I haven't heard in a month.

"not planning on it"

suddenly all the girls tackled her in a hug, laughing uncontrollably.

"IF YOU EVER EFFIN DO THAT AGAIN I WILL SLAP THE SHIT OUT OF YOU" kitty yelled, laughing. raph and mikey walked into the room

"LEO!" they yelled and tackled me in a hug.

when they saw Nicola their jaws dropped to the ground.

"no...way...NICOLA?!" mikey yelled, joining the hug fest. raph laughed and joined the hug club too. suddenly master splinter walked into the room. Nicola and I escaped the arms around us and hugged master splinter, crying tears of joy.

"I missed you so much father" I cried, hugging him tighter. he hugged back even tighter.

"as to you my children" he said to Nicola and I, smiling, tears clinging in his reddish Brown eyes.

man is it good to be home.....
