chapter 24

*Leo's pov*

"have fun" I heard the shredders voice boom as he stormed out of the room, slamming the cell door.

I was practically sobbing, trying to break threw the bars, separating me from the love of my life, laying there, bleeding to death.

she lifted her head and her tear streaked eyes met my tear streaked blue ones. she pulled one arm off of her chest, pulling herself towards my cell. she got close enough for me to reach and hold her hand, her arm going limper and limper. I held her hand tightly.

"le-leo I love you" she said, as her last words on earth.

I was sobbing out of control when I yelled to the sky

"NICOLA I LOVE YOU I WILL FIND A WAY TO BRING YOU BACK"!!! and I collapsed sobbing so much my tears cleared Nicola's blood off of my hands. I never let go of her hand. I was gripping on to the bars sobbing when I heard another presence enter the cell.

"shredder just kill me, I have no reason to go on any more" I mumbled not even looking at him.

"now why would I do that" I heard an unfamiliar voice say. I look up and see a teenage girl in a foot soldier uniform staring at me cockily. she had her mask off and had long, straight black hair and an Asian face. she was 5'2ish and had a katana strapped to her hip. she looked at me with her brown eyes. they reminded me of Nicola's.... as I started to cry again she moved her gaze to her body across to mine, her gaze fell and she muttered

"he actually did it"

suddenly the wall of bars raised, the wall that kept me from saving the love of my life. I scooted closer to her and cried over her body.

"look, I understand, ok? but if you want to get out of here than we have to go now" she said, voice full of sadness.

"I-I'm not leaving her" I said

"but you have to-" she started but then I raised my voice.

"I'M NOT LEAVING HER"! I yelled.

"but your to injured, and you can't carry her while I'm supporting her weight" she said, voice full of regret.

"I can carry her....I won't leave her" I muttered.

she sighed and said

"ok but we have to go fast, and quietly"

I nodded, wiping the tears off of my cheek and grabbed her about to lift her, but then a sharp pain ran across my chest and I buckled under our weight.

she sighed and slung her body across her shoulders and helped me up, supporting both of our weight.

"thank you so much" I said quietly.

"it's ok, I'm sorry he did this to you, I should've stopped him...I'm so sorry" she blurted out.

"I-it's ok...who are you"? I asked slowly. she moved her neck so I could see her and simply said

"Hana"
