"guys it's been a good month since we've seen the shredder, but we need to keep our eyes peeled, cause he's come back so many times, and each time...." Leo started, trailing off at the end, staring deep into Nicola's deep brown eyes.

"we had to pay" he finished, glaring at the ground. raphs light green eyes filled with tears, but he quickly wiped them away. I shook my head, as if trying to shake the dark memories out of my head.

"ok guys, so let's lay this out. every time we 'killed' him, what seemed off"? I asked, scanning the room for anyone who had an Idea. Leo spoke up first.

"well, every time we hit him, no blood came out" Leo stated. I racked my brain, trying to think of a reason.

maybe he's like, some spirit? no...maybe he has healing powers?no....maybe he has a magical Dragon who- OK DONNIE STOP! THIS IS NOT SCY FI CONVENTION! *sigh* ok, so maybe-

then suddenly a thought popped up in my head. my mind rewinded to when we went and saved leo when he went with Hana to go get revenge. when Nicola mentioned something about having help from getting raised by the dead, he suddenly knew who did it!

did they know each other? well duh donnie. where they friends? probably not, the way shredder said his name. now the big question that would solve all of our problems.

what are they???

I got yanked out of my thoughts when mikey yelled

"EARTH TO DONNIE, THIS IS HUSTON, EARTH TO DONNATELLO"!

I rolled my eyes and then looked at the many...many...MANY faces staring at me, expecting an answer.

I just shook my head and said

"I have one clue, I think that the shredder and Mortu know each other, but from where"? I got a bunch of clueless looks, when I heard a deep voice say

"I can answer that for you, but im not gunna" then I heard the unmistakably loud, piercing sound of claws being unsheathed.

come ON!

*ok I realize that this chapter sucks, but I have a headache at the moment so...ya ^_^ hope you liked it any way! just a heads up, I'm ending this story soon, for realsies this time
