chapter 25

*donnies pov*

I was sitting in my lab when I heard it.

"LEO"!!!!!

I immediately tossed my laptop on the ground, sprinting  out of my lab when I saw him.

he was a lot skinnier and looked like he was about to pass out from blood loss, but what worried me most were his eyes. his usually full of life ice blue eyes were restrained and seemed to have no life in them. I ran over to him, my brothers right behind me, and tackled him in a group hug. mikey, raph, and I were practically sobbing with joy. I looked at leo once we all pulled away smiling. but the thing was, his smile had no life. I could see joy in his eyes for being back home, but not as much as to be expected.

what did that dirty bastard do to my big brother?!

wait.....

"Leo, where's Nicola"? I asked concerned and just like that he dropped to the floor sobbing.

"Hana you can come in now" he said in between sobs.

I ran to comfort my brother but then a foot ninja walked into our layer.

dead body..........NO!

I got up and grabbed my bo staff and charged at the girl carrying one of my best friends.

"WHAT DID YOU DO"?! I yelled, wacking my staff at her.

"NO *dodge* YOU *dodge* DON'T *dodge* UNDERSTAND" she said, moving out of the way of my staff.

"donnie stop" leo said weakly, losing balance.

I dropped my staff and ran to him and caught him before he could hit the ground.

"guys help me get him *I let out a sob* and Nicola to the lab" I said tears in my eyes.

as my brothers made their way over to me I spotted the "Hana" girl attempting to escape.

"you, my friend aren't going anywhere" I spat out, dragging Leo's immobile body to my lab, raph and mikey carrying Nicola crying softly.

"you need to explain what happened" I stated.

she sighed and told me everything, how the shredder tortured Nicola to get anwsers out of leo, and when that didn't work he went to him. after a month he figured out he didn't need Nicola any more and killed her in front of leo, breaking his spirit.

and how she freakin watched the whole thing

"you...you" I started putting down my supplies I was using on leo, and made my way over to Hana.

"WATCHED THE WHOLE THING?! AND YOU DIDN'T SAVE HER?!" I yelled 

"I'm..I'm..sorry I didn't think he'd actually kill her" she stuttered

suddenly leo moved in his sleep.

I wonder what's happening to him...

*I know I know it's short I'm sorry xD enjoy never the less
