Bucharest:

Steve and I were waiting in Bucky's crap apartment hoping for the man himself to show up.

I've seen Bucky's picture before and I can't help but wonder. Are all super soldiers hot? Seriously, is that like a side effect from the serum cause if so, maybe we should do the female population of New York- and every other city in the world- a favor and just disperse it everywhere.

I can't believe no one's thought of that earlier.

Then it hit me: No one's thought of it cause no one knows how to create the serum.

Damn it.

Steve must have gotten restless cause he got up from his seat and started pacing, observing Bucky's apartment.

He picked up a book and started flipping through it when Sam's voice wafted into our comms.

"Heads up Cap. German special forces approaching from the south."

"What? I don't get a heads up?" I muttered, wrapping my arms around my self. This place was starting to give me the creeps.

"Understood" Cap replied giving me one of his famous "don't start" looks.

I chose to ignore it and stick out my tongue at him.

I know, I know. I'm so mature.

The hairs on my neck stood up as I felt someone's eyes on me.

I slowly turned around to meet the eyes off........

...... the winter soldier.

Dun dun dun...

Sorry. Couldn't resist.

I nudged Steve to turn around as I tried to ignore Bucky's icy blue eyes observing me.

Steve's jaw clenched as he tried to reign in his emotions.

"Do you know me?"

"You're Steve. I read about you in a museum." Bucky said, his voice gruff and husky.

"So you know him from the museum, not from your memories? Or do you know him from both? Or maybe from niether considering the museum's aren't that accurate." I contemplated.

I could tell from Steve and Bucky's faces that I ruined the little moment they were sharing. Oops.

Wow level of awkwardness is raising and raising.

Thankfully Sam started talking.

"They've set the perimeter."

In second thoughts, maybe it would have been better if he hadn't started talking.

Steve set the book on the table and slowly approached Bucky.

"I know your nervous. You have plenty of reason to be. But you're lying."

Bucky's jaw clenched.

"I wasn't in Vienna, I don't do that anymore."

"They're entering the building." Sam warned.

"The people who think you did are coming here now and they're not planning on taking you alive." I said trying to get him to understand and haul ass.

"That's smart. Strategic"

"They're on the roof. I'm compromised."

"This doesn't have to end in a fight Buck." Steve was desperate. It was all over his face.

I wish he'd just let me compel Bucky, but after he found out about my..... condition, he's been extra overprotective.

Bucky sighed. "It always ends in a fight."

"Five seconds"

"You pulled me from the river," Steve insisted, "Why?!"

"I don't know."

"Three seconds"

"Yes, you do."

Steve let his calm facade drop and his face turned vulnerable.

"Breach! Breach!"

A grenade got thrown in from the window. I quickly used my telekinesis and deflected the grenade to the side.

Bucky kicked it over to Steve, who covered it with his shield just as it exploded.

Then, the door flew from its hinges and the German Special Forces flooded the apartment.

AN: Sorry for the late update but I am going insane with the amount of homework they're giving us. That and I'm trying to balance watching :Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Daredevil, Agents Of Shield, Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends Of Tomorrow, Teen Wolf, Once Upon A Time, Attack On Titan, and Supernatural and trying to avoid too much excitement so my heart won't start acting up again. Also, I can't believe I have over 200+ reads! This is incredible, thank you soo much for everyone who took the time to read this story. Sorry for any mistakes, English isn't my first language or my second so I'm still learning. Till next time.
