My heart aches completely every hour, every day and only when I' m with you, does the pain go away.

The horror that circulated Karishma's mind hearing his words, was something she never have a thought in her entire life. But more than shock, it was a sense of hate and disgust, that she felt in that moment but her subconscious was still in denial. Can people be really this heartless to snatch something so valuable from someone? Was this world really capable of stooping this low?
"Why are we forced to live like this? Why? Tell me, why did that almighty do this to us? Why?" His broken and shattered voice brought her out of her reverie as she felt his tears soaking her shoulder.
She wrapped her arms around his body and stroking his back, she consoled, "Udit. Please don't cry. Don't give up. Everything happens for a reason. Maybe this is our test of life."
She knew better than anyone else in that moment, that he wasn't listening to her. He was lost in his own world of tears and pain. The hollowness that he felt inside his soul was palpable on his face.
She rubbed his back trying to soothe his pain but he continued to sob as if he was extremely tired of everything now. He needed to let out the pain and the best form in that moment was, crying. No doubt that people say crying makes you weak, but it is only way, one knows the amount of anguish that the other person is hiding behind their charade.
"Sshhhh, it's okay. I am here. You can tell me anything you want. I want to listen to you". She assured him controlling herself from not breaking down. In that moment, she was required to be the stronger one and she couldn't let it pass on like that when he was at the edge of giving up on himself.
Hearing her words, and her touch on his back, he was jolted to the reality like a thunderstorm and he pulled apart from her harshly, in the process pushing her on the ground. He ran his hands through his hairs, realizing his vulnerability whilst she stood there on the floor, too hurt and shocked to even react.
"Don't ever try to know about me. Do you understand that, Karishma Wahi? I don't like anyone interfering in my life, so stay out of it". He yelped standing up.
His dried tears were still visible on his cheek and his eyes were puffy with all the crying but there was no emotion other than, deep excruciating pain in them.
Karishma gulped a lump in her throat, hearing his words and all the warmth she felt since the previous day, vanished away instantly. She felt helpless and defeated but she couldn't make herself to blame him, for his anger. She was able to understand the reason of his sudden coldness already but it was killing her to bear his pain.
"I don't know, why I even agreed to give you my time when I knew you were going to break me down again." He stated with closed fists, whilst disgust was evident in his ruthless tone. Karishma was dumbfounded to hear such things from him. She broke him, how?
"I gave you ten days time, but I am ending it right from this moment. I know longer desire to have any more conversations with you. Do you get me?" He shouted and she slowly stood up from the ground, but didn't said a word because she knew, he wasn't going to listen to her. She felt the pain in his voice too, but she was also aware of the fact that, he was too stubborn to let her help him. But she won't give up until her heart says so.
She held his wrist silently, and took him along with her, shocking him completely. But he didn't questioned her instead he let her take him wherever she wanted. Maybe because his heart wanted to get away from all his troubles.
"Your room is here". She announced opening his room door for her. Though he was surprised but he didn't put forth his words infront of her, instead, he marched inside and slammed the door shut on her face making her flinch.
