(Enjoy!)

Y/N's POV

I chuckled quietly as I watched Dawn and Elliot's little encounter.

"They're so cute together..." I whispered.

"Yeah, but were they ever officially 'together'?" A familiar voice questioned, the source leaning close to my ear, startling me.

"Soul! Don't sneak up on me like that!"

He chuckled.

"Sorry. That wasn't very cool was it?" He asked awkwardly.

"Meh." I shrugged.

"And to answer your question. No. I don't think they ever were. I mean, they're both aware of the other's feelings, but they aren't exactly a thing."

"Why not?"

I shrugged. "Don't know."

"Unless~" I hummed.

"Unless what?"

"Unless....they're secretly dating~?"

He sent a look, as if he were saying 'seriously?'

I sighed.. "Yeah, yeah, yeah...I wish it were true though..."

"We should find a way to get them closer..." Soul said, winking.

I smirked.

"Hmmm....I wonder what would happen if Dawn's tent were to 'accidentally' set fire...?"

"Oh, no.....(Y/N)....Not cool..."

"The fire will look cool..."

"No....forest fires..."

"I'll extinguish it. I brought lots of water~"

"Fine....but put it out quickly..."

"Yesss~!"

I then took out my matches, (Huh, one of my friends had matches with him today and asked me if I'd like to be burned right when he saw me...) pretending to add it to the fire we had set up.

But, rather than flying to the fire, it flew to Dawn's tent, just as planned.

"GAH!" Elliot shouted, grabbing Dawns wrist, fleeing from the fire.

I then threw an enormous bucket of water at the tent. (*Throws bucket* *Bucket hits Elliot in the head*)

"Holy crap! That was meant to go into the fire! Not your tent!"

"GREAT! JUST FREAKING LOVELY! NOW I DON'T HAVE A TENT!" Dawn yelled angrily.

"Sorry..."

Little did she know, I was pretending the whole time.

She sighed. "Can I sleep in your tent, (Y/N)?"

"No way! I don't want your stench in my tent!"

"I DON'T STINK!" She then sniffed her pits.

"Okay maybe a little...."

"BUT WE ALL STINK! WE'VE BEEN IN THE WOODS! RUNNING FROM WHATEVER THE HECK THAT WAS OUT THERE!"

"Y-you can sleep in my tent...." Elliot chimed in, blushing and looking away from Dawn.

Dawn blushed profusely.

Dawn's POV

"Uh..." I was speechless. Sharing a tent with Elliot would be awkward.

"There you go, Dawn! See!? You have a tent to sleep in now!" (Y/N) laughed, pushing me into Elliot.

Elliot blushed more as we fell onto the ground.

One on top of the other.

Our faces were as red as tomatoes as we made eye contact.

I then moved from on top of Elliot's skinny figure.

"S-sorry...." I apologized, looking away from the blonde boy.

He sat up, scratching his nape. "I-it's okay..." He forgave.

--------

Y/N's POV

Everybody was sitting by the warm fire, having a good time. We were all laughing, smiling.

It was great.

We all teased Dawn and Elliot about the awkward situation from earlier, in which Dawn protested, and Elliot blushed.

But something was off.

Soul wasn't acting like himself.

I nudged him.

"Hey, you okay?"

His head turned, nodding.

"Alright..."

I looked down intently at the vivid fire burning in front of us.

I then felt weight on my right shoulder. I turned my head to see the source. Soul.

"You okay...?" He asked.

"Y-yeah..." I responded, flustered.

"Hey, um, I know we still haven't dealt with the Kishin and all, but..." He started.

"Hm?"

"I was wondering, did that kiss mean anything to you?"

My eyes widened, shocked to hear those words come from his mouth.

"Which one?"

"Both of them."

"Well, y-yeah...I think..."

"Think?"

I sighed. "Can we talk about this later...?"

He nodded.

--------

Everyone was heading to bed. I stayed, watching the dimming fire.

I saw Elliot heading to the tent Dawn had already began to occupy.

"Hey, Elliot!" I called.

His head snapped in my direction.

"Yeah?"

I only winked, smirking as I did so.

He blushed, knowing exactly why I winked, heading into the tent.

Soul still sat at the fire next to me, not saying a word.

"Yes." I said.

His head turned. "What?"

"Yes. The kiss did mean something to me."

He blushed a bit.

"Did it mean anything to you, Soul?"

"Yeah..." He mumbled.

I smiled.

"What was that?"

He looked away, blushing profusely.

"I said, 'yeah'"

I pulled him into a warm embrace as the fire finally went out, leaving only the moon and the stars to light up the area.

TO BE CONTINUED...

------------------------------------------------

You guys confessed....

Elliot and Dawn are sleeping in the same tent....

This is a great day for all.

But we still have no idea who cackled....and caused this wonderful night to happen.

Well, in the next chapter maybe you can thank whoever that was.

But I hope you enjoyed!

Thanks for reading!
