-Jonathan's P.O.V-
"Jon, wake up you're gonna be late," my friend Dwayne screamed from downstairs.
"I'll be fine dude class is at 9," I yell back while getting in the shower.
"You sure about that I'm reading the clock at 8:30 and I have to go at least two miles until u get there and it's rush hour," he says .
"Shit" I yell running out the shower while quickly throwing on my favorite clothes."Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" I scream."I tried but you wouldn't wake up,"he says while putting my breakfast on a plate."What are you doing I gotta run put it in a bag?"I say while putting on my shoes and packing my backpack.
"Why? You're not leaving for another hour. Oh that's I lied to you to wake you up." he says while laughing."Asshole. That's not funny "I say while I start to eat my breakfast.
"Not my fault you wanted to stay up last night training," He said. "Plus you have more important thing to worry about like that C.I.A Field Test you gotta take."
"I know it's just isn't a little early for me to be doing all this," I said
"What do you mean?"
"I mean the gaming tournaments, the C.I.A, and college"
"You're the one who wanted to do more with your life ,and plus with that talent of yours how could you not."
"I guess you're right I do like going with the flow," I said as I'm leaving out the door."Don't forget your keys," He yells as he throws them at me."Thanks, Dad," I say while smiling.He throws a knife at me but I had time to dodge did I forget to mention he's in the C.l.A, too."Call me that again and this time you won't have time to dodge."
I gulped as I ran out the door. I get into the car and begins driving to school. As I drive I think about what my other friend Damian said to me about a blind date he's setting me up with. Do I really want to go? I get out and walk out to the lecture hall and look down at my watch. Shit 10 mins left have to hurry not a lot of time. I turn a corner and run into a girl. "I'm so sorry I didn't see you there" l say at I help her pick up the books she dropped. That's when I look into her eyes. "They're beautiful," I say out loud.
