"Mr. Taren it's an honor for you to let me sit in on this meeting," he says shaking my father's hand and turning to me and kissing my hand sending a shiver of disgust down my back. We all sat down and waited for the guest to walk in. My eyes widen as I see Jonathan walk in. He has half the nations in the UN in his pocket. Just Who is he?
Present - Jonathan's Pov
After Diamond went into the building I got into my car and raced home to change my clothes. I would be meeting Mr. Taren again to discuss a vision he needs me to help become true. When I walked into Dwayne was running out." Hey, where are you going."
"To my girl's house, she needs me to drop off something," He says with a wink.
"Alright, I'll see you later then," I rush over to my room and takes a shower and get dressed. As I pull into the lot I see Mr. Taren's car already here. "Seems like I'm late again. Oh well, he'll be fine." As I walk in I greet Susan the secretary.
"Good to see you again Jonathan Mr.Taren is waiting for you in the conference room," She says as I walk past opening the door.
"Alright, Mr.Taren Seems to me you want something from me," I say as I turn towards him. "I was under the impression that this was going to be a meeting between me and you.
"I'm sorry about I wanted my family to me the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. Jonathan Henry. Come. Come. Sit down with me and have a drink. Micheal get my guest something to drink and let's talk business." I wave my hand denying the drink. "Alright meet my family." He gets up and walks over to his wife Terra Taren. She an older lady mid 40's standing about 5'8. Her hair is wavy and flows down her back and she's wearing a sundress. I kiss her hand knowing her from the age where stuff like that is accepted as a proper greeting. Their daughter Diamond bares a striking resemblance to the both of them. She has short straight hair and is the same height as her mother. She is wearing skinny jeans that fit her curves perfectly and a crop top that shows her figure quite well. She has an hourglass figure that any man would die for. I kiss her hand also causing her to blush noticeably. The guy, Micheal, frowns at this. He seems to be the next suitor in line. He seems to come from a very rich family. The old money I would take it. Must have been pampered all his life. He's a tall lean guy sit at about 6'0 even and wears a black and gold suit. He seems taken aback when I try and shake his hand.
"Let's get down to it. What do you want?" I said sitting in front of him at the same round we are at. Micheal sits to my right while Diamond is to my left.
"How dare you speak to him like that," Micheal said kissing ass. He seems to not like me very much.
"Now. Now Micheal stay calm this is a colleague. No need to talk that way." Mr. Taren says shutting Micheal up. He sits back down glaring at me. Diamond seems to be in shock that her father defended me. " Now as we discussed earlier I need you to help my daughter get into the FBI. I know you have friends at Quantico."
"What!?!? You need me to help her pass the test?"
"Yes, I know your the very best a hacking and programming. Plus you have one of the greatest minds the nation has to offer. With the ties you have, you could do what you want without reprimand. I need someone like that under me so I not only want you to do that but I also want you to come work for me. Together we would be unstoppable. I would be leading the world in technology passing Microsoft by 10 years. I would pay well no doubt. What do you say?"He says extending a hand out toward me. I raise having something this man never heard in his life.
"No"
"What?"
"I said No. I am no one's lap dog and the tech I create is worth more than whatever you could give me. I am THE world leading minds in tech. I create things that the NSA constantly trying to take it from me. So you expect me to hand it all over to you. That's not going to happen." I say standing and beginning to walk away.
"What did you say, boy?" His face turned red with rage. "There's nothing that I won't get. Micheal beat him." He says as Micheal runs toward me throwing a very slow punch. I easily catch it and throw him into the wall.
"You know you move to fast. I wasn't going just walk away. We are business partners. Here." I slide him a hard drive. "This contains tech pass Microsoft by 2 years. Don't ask for more or next time you won't get anything. Remember you are who you are because of me. I can take what I give real quick and you'll be left with nothing but the clothes on your back. Everything I give I patent you, so at any time I could pull the plug. Next time watch your tone with me. I control how much you need. Your daughter is very smart she doesn't need my help with the exam. She'll pass easily. Now have a good day Mr.Taren" I slam the door on my way out and tell Susan bye. This has happened before where Mr. Taren try to overstep his boundaries. That old man is going to get himself killed. I sped out the lot going home. It only 5:00 I have 2 hours before my meeting with Diamond. I wonder what she is thinking now knowing where her father gets his tech.
